My father raised me on his own and as a Christian.  He worked hard to teach me Christian values. I read the Bible a lot when I was in elementary school (I skipped the words I did not know) and noticed there were some contradictions (i.e. eating pork, Jesus’s death , may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, etc.).<\/span><\/p>\r\n

When I was twelve I knew I did not really believe in Christianity anymore, but I did not know what to think.  I continued searching out God and praying to Him for the truth.  I sought God a lot and very hard. I had a lot of questions on my mind: “Everybody, at some time or another, asks themselves the question: “Why do I exist?” or “For what purpose am I here on Earth?”<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The variety and complexity of the intricate systems, which constitute the fabric of both human beings and the world in which they exist, indicate that there must have been a Supreme Being who created them. Design indicates a designer.  When human beings come across footprints on a beach, they immediately conclude that a human had walked by there some time previously. No one imagines that the waves from the sea settled in the sand and by chance produced a depression looking exactly like human footprints. Nor do humans instinctively conclude that they were brought into existence without a purpose.  Since purposeful action is a natural product of human intelligence, humans conclude that the Supreme Intelligent Being who created them must have done so for a specific purpose. It is for this reason that human beings need to know the purpose for their existence in order to make sense of this life and to do what is ultimately beneficial for them.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

When I was nineteen while calling myself a “truth seeker”, I traveled a lot looking for other cultures and beliefs to satisfy my need for finding God.  I looked into Taoism, Wicca, Buddhism, Rastafarian, Judaism, Free Masonry, Christianity, Hinduism, Animism, etc. I even looked at one or two pages about Islam but immediately dismissed it as it did not suit my own desire.  I saw that Muslims worship Allah, and that Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, is their Messenger and that they pray five times a day.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Five times a day!?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\r\n

I thought that sounds like too much work; and it could not possibly be the religion of God, the Creator of the Heavens and the earth!?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

By time, I returned to the United States almost twenty one; I was not satisfied with any of the religions I had looked into.  I decided to attend medical school (which was my dream).  I filled out entrance exams and papers and was accepted at my delight. I took a Greyhound Bus from Michigan and headed to Colorado for college.  While I was traveling, I met a young guy who was sitting behind me for most of the trip.  I asked his name and learned he was Ibrahim from Africa, traveling to college to be an engineer.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

We began talking, and he told me he was a Muslim.  I asked him what that was and he explained that Muslims believe there is none worthy of being worshiped but Allah alone and that Muhammad was the last and final Prophet of the Abrahamic faiths.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

I concluded that Jews were behind on two Prophets: Jesus and Muhammad; and Christians were behind on one Prophet: Muhammad.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

I inquired further into the religion Islam, and he shared with me a small book of collected prayers (dua and dhikr) that Muslims make.  Inside the first daily remembrance I read was this:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“None has the right to be worshiped but Allah alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things Omnipotent.”<\/span><\/p>\r\n

It was then that I knew Islam was quite possibly what I had been looking for. I then looked further into the book for more clarification on who Allah is and focused on these two:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“In the Name of Allah, Who with His Name nothing can cause harm in the earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.”<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“O Allah, whatever blessing has been received by me or anyone of Your creation is from You alone, You have no partner.  All praise is for you and thanks is to You.”<\/span><\/p>\r\n

I then turned to Ibrahim and asked him how I could become Muslim.  He told me to say my Shahadah: La ilaha illa llaah Muhammadur Rasoolullah<\/em> (There is no deity that has the right to be worshiped but Allah alone and Muhammad is His Messenger). And in believing that and stating it, I became a Muslim right then and there on a Greyhound Bus. So, after speaking with Ibrahim for fifteen minutes I became a Muslim.  This was about seven years ago. I never went to medical school.  I decided to spend my time learning my new religion and moved to Utah.  I met a great many Muslims there who warmly welcomed me into the community and spent much time teaching me the religion.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

To sum up some of the most important things I have learned as a Muslim would be this:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

    \r\n
  • There has to have been a Creator due to the fact that there is creation.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
  • A proof that there is a God is shown through the masses; whom all feel the need to worship and do so through the vast amounts of different religions and beliefs.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
  • Otherwise, where would we have ever gotten the idea from to even worship?<\/span><\/li>\r\n
  • If there were more then one god there would be complete and utter chaos from them arguing amongst themselves.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
  • Consequently, every human being is responsible for belief in God, which is imprinted on each and every soul.  It is based on this inborn belief that Allah defined the purpose of humankind’s creation in Chapter Adh-Dhariyat<\/em> (which means):<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

    “I created the jinn and humankind only to worship Me.” (Quran 51:56)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

      \r\n
    • The laws that we build our societies upon are a proof that there must be a Creator for everything and that we are mimicking Him and His divine laws by creating our own rules and legislation.  Unfortunately, societies often make laws and legislation that are contrary to the divine laws of God.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

      Without these laws there would be complete panic and disorder spread out through the entire world, which would make life very different from the one we live in and experience.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        \r\n
      • A religion cannot be properly judged by its’ followers but can be properly judged by its’ teachings.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
      • Islam is for all of mankind with complete structure and guidance for every aspect, condition and affliction that mankind ever meets and suffers with and\/or from.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
      • Islam cannot be changed and ‘put into a box’ in regards to how you want to practice it, you must change yourself and your way of life to meet and fit into Islam.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
      • Thus, the essential purpose for which humankind was created is the worship of God.  However, the Almighty is not in need of human worship.  He did not create human beings out of a need on His part.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

        If not a single human worshiped God, it would not diminish His Glory in any way, and if all of mankind worshiped Him, it would not increase His Glory in any way.  God is Perfect.  He alone exists without any needs.  All created beings have needs.  Consequently, it is humankind that needs to worship God.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        - Why do human beings need to worship and glorify God by obeying the divinely revealed laws? This is because obedience to divine law is the key to success in this life and the next.  The first human beings, Adam and Eve, were created in paradise and later expelled from paradise for disobeying the divine law.  The only way for human beings to return to paradise is by obedience to the law.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        - Divine laws represent guidance for humankind in all walks of life.  They define right and wrong for them and offer human beings a complete system governing all of their affairs.  The Creator alone knows best what is beneficial for His creation and what is not.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        The divine laws command and prohibit various acts and substances to protect the human spirit, the human body and human society from harm.  In order for human beings to fulfill their potential by living righteous lives, they need to worship God through obedience to His commandments.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        I am now married with children and am a stay home mother.  I write and illustrate books for children.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        I also maintain three websites on the Muslim’s belief, character, manners and business ethics.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

         <\/p>\r\n

        Mon père m’a élevée seul, dans la foi chrétienne.  Il a déployé beaucoup de temps et d’efforts pour m’inculquer les valeurs chrétiennes.  À l’école primaire, je lisais souvent la Bible et, même à cette époque, je ne pouvais m’empêcher d’y remarquer de nombreuses contradictions.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        À l’âge de douze, je savais, au fond de moi, que je ne croyais plus vraiment au christianisme, mais j’étais également confuse et je ne savais trop qu’en penser.  Je ne cessai toutefois jamais de prier Dieu et de Lui demander de me guider vers la vérité.  Je me posais beaucoup de questions, du genre de celles que l’on se pose à cet âge : pourquoi est-ce que j’existe?  Quel est le but de ma présence sur terre?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        À l’âge de dix-neuf ans, je me considérais comme une personne en quête de vérité.  Je voyageai beaucoup afin de découvrir d’autres cultures et d’autres religions, dans l’espoir d’y trouver des réponses satisfaisantes.  J’étudiai brièvement le taoïsme, la wicca, le bouddhisme, le mouvement rastafari, le judaïsme, la franc-maçonnerie, d’autres branches du christianisme, l’hindouisme, l’animisme…  Je ne lus qu’une ou deux pages sur l’islam, que je rejetai immédiatement, car il ne correspondait pas à mes envies personnelles.  J’y appris néanmoins que les musulmans adorent Allah, que leur prophète s’appelle Mohammed et qu’ils prient cinq fois par jour.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        Cinq fois par jour?!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\r\n

        Cela me semblait demander beaucoup trop d’efforts et me donnait l’impression que cette religion n’était probablement pas la religion de Dieu, le Créateur de la terre et des cieux.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        Je retournai aux États-Unis alors que j’avais presque vingt-et-un an, toujours en quête de vérité.  Je fis mon inscription en médecine et, après avoir passé divers tests, je fus acceptée.  Je pris un autobus voyageur du Michigan jusqu’au Colorado et, au cours du voyage, je fis la connaissance d’un jeune homme qui était assis derrière moi, dans le bus.  Je lui demandai son nom et il me dit qu’il s’appelait Ibrahim, qu’il était originaire d’Afrique et qu’il se rendait à l’université pour y étudier l’ingénierie.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        Nous discutâmes et il me dit qu’il était musulman.  Je lui demandai ce qu’était un musulman, exactement, et il me dit que les musulmans croient que nul ne mérite d’être adoré en dehors d’Allah et que Mohammed fut le dernier messager qu’Il envoya sur terre.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        Je conclus que, sur la base de son affirmation, les juifs étaient en retard de deux prophètes, Jésus et Mohammed, et que les chrétiens étaient en retard d’un prophète, Mohammed.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        Je lui posai davantage de questions sur sa religion et il me montra un petit livre de prière qu’il portait sur lui.  Le premier hadith que j’y trouvai, en l’ouvrant, fut celui-ci :<\/span><\/p>\r\n

         « Nul n’a le droit d’être adoré en dehors d’Allah, qui agit seul, sans partenaires.  C’est à Lui qu’appartiennent la souveraineté et toutes les louanges et c’est Lui l’Omnipotent. »<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        C’est à la lecture de ces lignes que je me dis que l’islam était peut-être cette religion que j’avais toujours cherchée.  Je feuilletai encore le livre pour mieux comprendre ce qu’était Allah, exactement, et je tombai sur ces deux invocations :<\/span><\/p>\r\n

         « Au nom d’Allah, avec le nom duquel nul ne peut causer de mal, sur terre ni dans les cieux.  Il entend tout et sait tout. »<\/span><\/p>\r\n

         « Ô Allah, toutes les bénédictions reçues par moi ou par tout être de Ta création ne proviennent que de Toi.  Tu n’as aucun associé.  Toutes les louanges et tous les remerciements sont pour Toi. »<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        Je me tournai ensuite vers Ibrahim et lui demandai ce que je devais faire pour devenir musulmane.  Il me dit que je devais prononcer l’attestation de foi (shahadah), i.e. que nul ne mérite d’être adoré en dehors de Dieu et que Mohammed est Son messager.  Et, en prononçant cette shahadah et en y croyant vraiment, je devins musulmane à ce moment-là, sur un autobus voyageur.  Après avoir discuté quinze minutes avec Ibrahim, je suis devenue musulmane.  C’était il y a sept ans.  Je finis par ne jamais aller à l’école de médecine.  Je décidai de passer mon temps à apprendre ma nouvelle religion et je déménageai en Utah.  J’y fis la rencontre de musulmans(es) fort sympathiques, qui m’accueillirent tous chaleureusement au sein de leur communauté et qui passèrent beaucoup de temps à m’enseigner ma religion.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

        Si je pouvais résumer les points les plus importants que j’ai appris en tant que musulmane, ce serait ainsi:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

          \r\n
        • Il ne peut y avoir de création sans Créateur.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
        • La preuve de l’existence de Dieu se constate dans le comportement de l’être humain.  La grande majorité des hommes ressent le besoin d’adorer quelqu’un ou quelque chose et elle le fait par l’intermédiaire d’une grande variété de religions et de systèmes de croyance.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
        • Sinon, où l’homme serait-il allé chercher l’idée d’adorer en premier lieu?<\/span><\/li>\r\n
        • S’il existait plus d’une divinité, le monde serait un chaos total, car elles ne pourraient jamais être toutes d’accord sur tous les sujets.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
        • Chaque être humain est responsable de sa croyance en Dieu, qui est gravée sur chaque âme.  C’est sur la base de cette croyance innée qu’Allah a défini la raison d’être de l’humanité dans le Coran :<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

           « Je n’ai créé les djinns et les hommes que pour qu’ils M’adorent. » (Coran 51:56)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

            \r\n
          • Les lois qu’établissent les hommes, au sein des diverses sociétés de la terre, sont une preuve de l’existence de Dieu, car elles s’inspirent largement des lois divines.  Malheureusement, il leur arrive trop souvent, aussi, d’établir des lois qui vont à l’encontre de la volonté divine. <\/span><\/li>\r\n
          • Une religion ne devrait pas être jugée sur la base du comportement de ses fidèles, mais sur la base de ses enseignements.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
          • L’islam est une religion qui s’adresse à toute l’humanité.  C’est un mode de vie complet, qui englobe tous les aspects de la vie humaine.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
          • L’islam ne peut être amendé ni relégué au fond d’un tiroir pour satisfaire les désirs de certains fidèles; le musulman doit changer et s’adapter à l’islam plutôt que l’inverse.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
          • Ainsi, la raison d’être essentielle de la création de l’humanité est l’adoration de Dieu.  Il faut toutefois garder à l’esprit que le Tout-Puissant n’a pas besoin de nous et que c’est plutôt nous qui avons besoin de Lui.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
          • Même si aucun être humain n’adorait Dieu, cela ne diminuerait pas Sa gloire le moindrement et si toute l’humanité L’adorait, cela n’augmenterait pas Sa gloire.  Dieu est Parfait.  Il existe par Lui-même, sans besoin aucun, tandis que les êtres humains existent par Lui et ont toutes sortes de besoins.  C’est pourquoi ils ont besoin d’adorer Dieu.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
          • Pourquoi les êtres humains ont-ils besoin d’adorer et de glorifier Dieu en obéissant à Ses lois?  Parce que l’obéissance aux lois divines est la clef du succès dans cette vie et dans l’au-delà.  Les premiers êtres humains, Adam et Ève, furent créés au Paradis, dont ils furent plus tard chassés pour avoir désobéi à Dieu.  La seule manière, pour l’être humain, de retourner au Paradis est d’obéir à Dieu et d’appliquer Ses lois.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
          • Les lois divines sont là pour guider les hommes dans toutes les sphères de leur vie.  Elles définissent le bien et le mal et offrent aux hommes un système complet pour gouverner toutes leurs affaires.  Le Créateur sait mieux que quiconque ce qui est bénéfique pour Sa création et ce qui ne l’est pas.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
          • Les lois divines imposent et interdisent divers actes pour protéger l’esprit et le corps humain, de même que la société. <\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

            Je suis maintenant mariée, j’ai des enfants et je suis mère au foyer.  J’écris et j’illustre des livres pour enfants.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

            J’ai également mis sur pied trois sites web sur la croyance, le mode de vie, les manières et l’éthique commerciale islamiques.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

             <\/p>\r\n

            Mein Vater hat mich allein als Christin aufgezogen.  Er hat sich sehr angestrengt, mir christliche Werte zu vermitteln.  Als ich in der Grundschule war, las ich viel in der Bibel (übersprang die Worte, ich weiß nicht wie) und ich bemerkte eine Menge Widersprüche (zB. Schweinefleisch essen, Jesus Tod, usw.).<\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Als ich zwölf war, wußte ich, dass ich nicht mehr wirklich ans Christentum glaubte, aber ich wußte nicht, an was ich sonst glauben sollte.  Ich forschte weiter über Gott nach und betete zu Ihm um die Wahrheit zu finden.  Ich bat Gott viel und sehr eindringlich.  Mein Kopf war voller Fragen: \"Jeder stellt sich irgendwann einmal die Frage: ´Warum existiere ich?´  oder ´Warum bin ich hier auf der Erde?´\" <\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Die Vielfältigkeit und Komplexität der komplizierten Systeme, die das Gewebe sowohl der menschlichen Wesen als auch der Welt in der sie existieren, darstellen, zeigen an, dass es ein Höheres Wesen gegeben haben muss, das sie geschaffen hat.  Eine Gestalt weist auf ihren Gestalter hin.  Wenn Menschen an einem Strand Fußspuren sehen, schließen sie sofort, dass dort vor kurzem ein Mensch entlang gegangen sein muss.  Keiner käme auf den Gedanken, die Wellen des Meeres hätten sich im Sand nieder gelassen und zufällig einen Abdruck hinterlassen, der genau wie menschliche Fußabdrücke aussieht.  Genauso wenig folgern sie instinktiv, dass sie ohne irgendeinen Zweck zur Existenz gebracht wurden.  Da zielgerichtetes Handeln ein natürliches Produkt der menschlichen Intelligenz ist, folgern Menschen, dass das Höhere Wesen, das sie geschaffen hat, dies zu einem bestimmten Zweck getan hat.  Aus diesem Grund haben Menschen das Bedürfnis, den Sinn und Zweck ihrer Existenz herauszufinden, um diesem Leben einen Sinn zu geben und um das zu tun, was von ultimativem Nutzen für sie ist.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Als ich 19 war, da nannte ich mich selbst mittlerweile eine nach der \"Wahrheit Suchende\", reiste ich viel herum, um andere Kulturen und Glaubensrichtungen kennenzulernen, um mein Bedürfnis Gott zu finden, zu befriedigen.  Ich beschäftigte mich mit Taoismus, Wicca, Buddhismus, Rastafarier, Judentum, Freimaurerei, Christentum, Hinduismus, Animismus, etc.   Ich sah mir sogar eine oder zwei Seiten über den Islam an, aber ich habe es gleich wieder gelassen, als ich merkte, dass es nicht meinem Verlangen entsprach.  Ich sah, dass Muslime Allah anbeten und dass Muhammad, Gottes Segen und Frieden seien mit ihm, ihr Gesandter war und dass sie fünfmal am Tag beten. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Fünfmal am Tag!?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Ich dachte, das hört sich nach viel Arbeit an; das konnte unmöglich die Religion Gottes, des Schöpfers der Himmel und der Erde sein!?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Als ich in die Vereinigten Staaten zurückkehrte, war ich fast einundzwanzig; ich war mit keiner Religion zufrieden, mit der ich mich beschäftigt hatte.  Ich beschloss, die medizinische Hochschule zu besuchen (das war mein Traum).  Ich bestand die Aufnahmeprüfungen und füllte die Papiere aus und zu meiner Freude wurde ich angenommen.  Ich nahm einen Greyhound Bus von Michigan und fuhr Richtung Colorado zum College.  Auf der Reise traf ich einen jungen Mann, der den Großteil der Reise hinter mir saß.  Ich fragte nach seinem Namen und erfuhr, dass er Ibrahiem aus Afrika war, er war auf dem Weg zum College, um Ingenieur zu werden.  <\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Wir fingen an, zu reden und er sagte mir, dass er Muslim sei.  Auf meine Frage, was das sei, erklärte er mir, dass Muslime glauben, dass keiner es wert ist, angebetet zu werden, außer Allah Allein und dass Muhammad der letzte und abschließende Prophet des abrahamitischen Glaubens ist.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Ich zog den Schluss, dass die Juden zwei Propheten zurück sind: Jesus und Muhammad; und die Christen sind einen Propheten zurück: Muhammad.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Ich erkundigte mich weiter über die Religion des Islam, und er zeigte mir ein kleines Büchlein mit einer Sammlung von Gebeten (Dua und Dhikr), die Muslime machen.  In dem ersten Gedenken las ich dies:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

            “Nichts gibt es, dem zu Recht gedient wird, außer Allah Allein, keinen Teilhaber hat Er.  Sein ist die Herrschaft und Sein ist das Lob, und Er ist über alles Mächtig.”<\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Da bemerkte ich, dass der Islam sehr wahrscheinlich das war, wonach ich gesucht hatte.  Ich suchte weiter in dem Buch nach Erklärungen, Wer Allah ist und stieß auf diese beiden:  <\/span><\/p>\r\n

            “Im Namen Allahs, keine Sache auf der Erde und im Himmel fügt mit Seinem Namen Schaden zu, und Er ist der Allhörende, der Allwissende.”<\/span><\/p>\r\n

            “O Allah, welche Wohltat mich oder irgendeinen anderen Deiner Schöpfung auch immer erreicht, ist von Dir Allein, Du hast keinen Teilhaber.  Aller Lobpreis gebührt Dir und Dir sei Dank.”<\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Da wandte ich mich Ibrahiem zu und fragte ihn, wie ich Muslim werden konnte.  Er sagte mir, ich solle die Schahada aussprechen: La ilaha illa llaah Muhammadur Rasuulullah<\/em> (Es gibt keine Gottheit, der zu Recht gedient wird, außer Allah Allein, und Muhammad ist Sein Gesandter).  Mit diesem Glauben und dieser Bezeugung wurde ich an Ort und Stelle in einem Greyhound-Bus eine Muslima.  Nachdem ich fünfzehn Minuten mit Ibrahiem gesprochen hatte, bin ich Muslima geworden.  Dies ist ungefähr sieben Jahre her.  Ich bin nie zur Medizinischen Hochschule gegangen.  Ich entschloss mich, meine Zeit damit zu verbringen, meine neue Religion zu lernen und zog nach Utah.  Ich traf eine Menge Muslime, die mich warm im ihrer Gemeinschaft empfingen und viel Zeit damit verbrachten, mich in der Religion zu unterrichten. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

            Einige der wichtigsten Dinge, die ich als Muslima gelernt habe, möchte ich hier aufzählen:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

              \r\n
            • Es muss einen Schöpfer geben, weil es eine Schöpfung gibt. <\/span><\/li>\r\n
            • Ein Beweis dafür, dass es einen Gott gibt, zeigt sich an den Massen; die alle den Bedarf zu beten spüren, und in den großen Mengen an unterschiedlichen Religionen und Glaubensrichtungen.  <\/span><\/li>\r\n
            • Woher sonst hätten wir auch nur die Idee von der Anbetung bekommen sollen?  <\/span><\/li>\r\n
            • Wenn es mehr als einen Gott geben würde, gäbe es ein völliges und vollkommenes  Chaos, weil sie unter einander streiten würden.  <\/span><\/li>\r\n
            • Daher ist die Verantwortlichkeit eines jeden Menschen vor Gott in jeder einzelnen Seele eingeprägt.  Dies basiert auf diesem angeborenen Glauben, dass Allah den Sinn und Zweck der Schöpfung der Menschheit in Kapitel Adh-Dhariyat<\/em> nennt, (was bedeutet):<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

              “Und Ich (Gott) habe die Ginn und die Menschen nur darum erschaffen, damit sie Mir (Allein) dienen (sollen)<\/strong>.” <\/strong>(Quran 51:56)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

               <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

                \r\n
              • Die Gesetze, auf die wir unsere Gesellschaften aufbauen, sind der Beweis dafür, dass es einen Schöpfer für alles geben muss, und dass wir Ihn nachahmen, wenn wir unsere eigenen Regeln und Gesetzgebungen schaffen, die den göttlichen Gesetzen widersprechen.  <\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

                Ohne diese Gesetze würde sich vollständige Panik und Unordnung auf der ganzen Welt verbreiten, die das Leben, das wir jetzt hier führen und erfahren, ganz anders machen würde.  <\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  \r\n
                • Eine Religion kann nicht an ihren Anhängern beurteilt werden, sondern an ihren Lehren.  <\/span><\/li>\r\n
                • Der Islam ist für die gesamte Menschheit mit einer vollständigen Struktur und Rechtleitung für jeden Aspekt, jede Bedingung und jedes Leiden, das der Menschheit widerfahren kann. <\/span><\/li>\r\n
                • Der Islam kann nicht verändert und 'in eine Schublade' gesteckt werden, in bezug darauf, wie du ihn praktizieren willst; du musst dich und deine Lebensweise verändern und dem Islam anpassen.  <\/span><\/li>\r\n
                • Der wesentliche Grund zu dem die Menschheit erschaffen wurde, ist Gott anzubeten.  Allerdings braucht der Allmächtige die Anbetung der Menschen nicht.  Er hat die Menschen nicht geschaffen, weil Er sie braucht. <\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

                  Wenn kein einziges menschliches Wesen Gott anbeten würde, würde dies Seine Herrlichkeit kein bisschen verringern und wenn alle Menschen Ihn anbeten würden, würde dies Seine Herrlichkeit kein bisschen vermehren.  Gott ist Vollkommen.  Er Allein existiert ohne jegliche Bedürfnisse.  Alle erschaffenen Wesen haben Bedürfnisse.  Deshalb ist es für die Menschheit notwendig, Gott anzubeten. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  - Warum haben Menschen den Bedarf, Gott anzubeten und zu lobpreisen, indem sie die von Gott offenbarten Gesetze befolgen?  Dies ist so, weil das Befolgen des göttlichen Gesetzes der Schlüssel zum Erfolg in diesem Leben und im nächsten Leben ist.  Die ersten Menschen, Adam und Eva, wurden im Paradies erschaffen und später aus dem Paradies vertrieben, weil die dem göttlichen Gesetz nicht gehorcht haben.  Der einzige Weg für die Menschen in das Paradies zurückzukehren, ist durch das Befolgen des Gesetzes. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  - Die göttlichen Gesetze repräsentieren Rechtleitung für die Menschheit in allen Lebenslagen.  Sie definieren, was für sie richtig und falsch ist und bieten der Menschheit ein vollständiges System, um alle ihre Angelegenheiten zu regeln.  Der Schöpfer allein weiss am besten, was das für Seine Schöpfung nützlich ist und was nicht.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Die göttlichen Gesetze befehlen und verbieten verschiedene Taten und Dinge, um den menschlichen Geist, den menschlichen Körper und die menschliche Gesellschaft vor Schaden zu bewahren.  Damit die Menschen ihr Potential durch das Leben rechtschaffener Leben erfüllen können, brauchen sie nur Gott durch das Befolgen Seiner Befehle anzubeten.  <\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Ich bin nun verheiratet und habe Kinder.  Als Hausfrau schreibe und illustriere ich Bücher für Kinder. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

                   <\/p>\r\n

                  Meu pai me educou sozinho e como cristã.  Trabalhou duro para me ensinar os valores cristãos. Lia muito a Bíblia quando estava no fundamental (pulava as palavras que não conhecia) e notei algumas contradições (por exemplo, comer porco, a morte de Jesus, que a misericórdia e bênçãos de Deus estejam sobre ele, etc.).<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Quando estava com doze anos sabia que, de fato, não acreditava mais no Cristianismo, mas não sabia o que pensar.  Continuei buscando Deus e orando a Ele pela verdade.  Busquei muito a Deus. Tinha muitas perguntas em minha mente. Todos em algum momento se perguntam “Por que eu existo?” ou “Qual o propósito de estar na Terra?”<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  A variedade e complexidade dos intrincados sistemas que constituem a fábrica dos seres humanos e do mundo nos quais existem indica que deve ter havido um Ser Supremo que os criou. O projeto indica um projetista.  Quando seres humanos encontram pegadas na praia, imediatamente concluem que um ser humano caminhou por ali anteriormente. Ninguém imagina que as ondas do mar se fixaram na areia e produziram ao acaso uma depressão que se parece exatamente com pegadas humanas. Nem os humanos concluem instintivamente que foram trazidos à existência sem um propósito.  Uma vez que uma ação com propósito é um produto natural da inteligência humana, os humanos concluem que o Ser Inteligente Supremo que os criou deve tê-lo feito para um propósito específico.  É por essa razão que os seres humanos precisam saber o propósito de sua existência para que suas vidas tenham sentido e para fazer o que, no final das contas, é benéfico para eles.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Quando estava com dezenove anos enquanto chamava a mim mesma de “buscadora da verdade”, viajei muito procurando outras culturas e crenças para satisfazer minha necessidade de encontrar Deus.  Pesquisei no Taoísmo, Wicca, Budismo, Rastafári, Judaísmo, Maçonaria, Cristianismo, Hinduísmo, Animismo, etc. Até pesquisei uma ou duas páginas sobre o Islã, mas imediatamente o descartei, já que não se adequava aos meus desejos.  Vi que os muçulmanos adoram Allah e que Muhammad, que a misericórdia e bênçãos de Deus estejam sobre ele é Seu mensageiro e que oram cinco vezes ao dia.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Cinco vezes ao dia!?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Pensei que soava como trabalho demais; não era possível ser a religião de Deus, o Criador dos céus e da terra!?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Quando voltei aos Estados Unidos estava com quase vinte anos; não estava satisfeita com nenhuma das religiões que havia pesquisado.  Decidi fazer medicina (que era meu sonho).  Preenchi os documentos e as provas de admissão e fui aceita, para minha alegria. Peguei um ônibus em Michigan e fui para o Colorado, para a universidade.  Enquanto viajava, encontrei um rapaz que estava sentado atrás de mim a maior parte da viagem.  Perguntei seu nome e soube que era Ibrahim da África, viajando para a universidade para ser engenheiro.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Começamos a conversar e ele me contou que era muçulmano.  Perguntei a ele o que era e ele explicou que os muçulmanos creem que nada merece adoração exceto Allah e que Muhammad é o último e final mensageiro das fés abraâmicas.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Conclui que para os judeus faltam dois profetas, Jesus e Muhammad, e para os cristãos falta um profeta, Muhammad.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Perguntei mais sobre a religião do Islã e ele compartilhou comigo um livreto com uma coletânea de súplicas (duas e dhikr) que os muçulmanos fazem.  Dentro do primeiro lembrete diário que li estava:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  “Ninguém tem o direito de ser adorado exceto Allah, sem parceiros. A Ele pertence toda a soberania e louvores e Ele é Onipotente sobre todas as coisas.”<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Foi então que soube que o Islã era muito possivelmente o que tinha estado procurando. Pesquisei mais no livro para mais esclarecimentos sobre Allah e foquei nesses dois:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  “Em nome de Allah, Que com Seu nome nada pode causar mal na terra ou nos céus e Ele é Oniouvinte e Onisciente.”<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  “Ó Allah, qualquer bênção recebida por mim ou qualquer de Suas criações vem de Ti somente, Tu não tens não parceiros.  Todos os louvores e agradecimentos são para Ti.”<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Voltei-me então para Ibrahim e perguntei a ele como poderia me tornar muçulmana.  Ele me disse para fazer minha shahada: La ilaha illa llaah Muhammadur Rasoolullah<\/em> (Não há divindade que tenha o direito de ser adorada exceto Allah e Muhammad é Seu mensageiro). E ao acreditar e afirmar isso, tornei-me uma muçulmana ali no Greyhound Bus. Assim, depois de conversar com Ibrahim por quinze minutos tornei-me uma muçulmana.  Isso foi há sete anos. Nunca fui para a faculdade de medicina.  Decidi passar meu tempo aprendendo minha nova religião e me mudou para Utah.  Encontrei muitos grandes muçulmanos lá que me deram calorosas boas-vindas à comunidade e passaram muito tempo me ensinando a religião.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                  Para resumir algumas das coisas mais importantes que aprendi como muçulmana:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                    \r\n
                  • Tem que haver um Criador porque existe criação.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
                  • Uma prova de que existe Deus é mostrada através das massas, que sentem a necessidade de adorar e o fazem através das grandes quantidades de religiões e crenças diferentes.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
                  • De outra forma, de onde teríamos tirado a ideia de adorar?<\/span><\/li>\r\n
                  • Se existisse mais de um deus haveria um caos completo e absoluto por discutirem entre si.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
                  • Consequentemente, todo ser humano é responsável pela crença em Deus, que está marcada em toda alma.  É baseado nessa crença inata que Allah definiu o propósito da criação da humanidade no capítulo Adh-Dhariyat<\/em> (que significa):<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

                    “Criei os gênios e a humanidade somente para Me adorarem.” (Alcorão 51:56)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

                      \r\n
                    • As leis em que se baseiam nossas sociedades são uma prova de que deve haver um Criador para tudo e que O estamos imitando e às Suas leis divinas criando nossas próprias regras e legislação.  Infelizmente as sociedades frequentemente fazem leis e legislações que são contrárias às leis de Deus.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

                      Sem essas leis haveria pânico e desordem completos em todo o mundo, que fariam a vida muito diferente daquela que vivemos e experimentamos.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                        \r\n
                      • Uma religião não pode ser adequadamente julgada por seus seguidores, mas pode ser adequadamente julgada por seus ensinamentos.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
                      • O Islã é para toda a humanidade com estrutura e orientação completas para cada aspecto, condição e aflição que a humanidade encontra e sofre.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
                      • O Islã não pode ser mudado e “colocado em uma caixa” sobre como você quer praticá-lo. Você deve se modificar e ao seu estilo de vida para atender e se adequar ao Islã.<\/span><\/li>\r\n
                      • O propósito essencial para o qual a humanidade foi criada é adorar Deus.  Entretanto, o Todo-Poderoso não precisa da adoração humana.  Ele não criou os seres humanos por causa de uma necessidade de Sua parte.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

                        Se nenhum ser humano adorasse Deus isso não diminuiria Sua Glória de forma alguma e se toda a humanidade O adorasse, não aumentaria Sua Glória de forma alguma.  Deus é perfeito.  Ele existe sem quaisquer necessidades.  Todos os seres criados têm necessidades.  Consequentemente, é a humanidade que precisa adorar Deus.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                        - Por que os seres humanos precisam adorar Deus obedecendo as leis divinamente reveladas? Porque a obediência à lei divina é a chave para o sucesso nessa vida e na outra.  Os primeiros seres humanos, Adão e Eva, foram criados no paraíso e posteriormente expulsos por desobedecerem à lei divina.  A única maneira dos seres humanos retornarem ao paraíso é através da obediência à lei.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                        - As leis divinas representam orientação para a humanidade em todos os grupos étnicos e sociais.  Definem certo e errado e oferece aos seres humanos um sistema completo governando todos os seus assuntos.  Somente o Criador sabe o que é benéfico para Sua criação e o que não é.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                        As leis divinas ordenam e proíbem vários atos e substâncias para proteger o espírito, o corpo e a sociedade de danos.  Para os seres humanos cumprirem seu potencial levando vidas virtuosas, precisam adorar Deus através da obediência aos Seus mandamentos.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                        Agora sou casada com filhos e sou uma mãe que fica em casa.  Escrevo e ilustro livros para crianças.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

                        Também mantenho três websites sobre a crença, o caráter, as maneiras e a ética islâmica nos negócios.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
