margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.islamreligion.com\/articles_de\/images\/The_Spirit_and_Ramadan_001.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Every year Muslims from all over the world and from all ethnic and economic backgrounds begin fasting from dawn to sunset every day during a most blessed month in the Islamic tradition, known as Ramadan.&nbsp; But what makes Ramadan a blessed month?&nbsp; Why do Muslims fast during this month?&nbsp; What are the spiritual benefits of fasting?&nbsp; All these questions and more are addressed in this article that introduces you to a month long spiritual journey that over 1.4 billion Muslims engage in worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The Quran says what means:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>&ldquo;It was the month of Ramadan in which the Quran was revealed from on high as a guidance for humanity and a self-evident proof of that guidance, and as the standard by which to discern the true from the false.&rdquo; (Quran 2:185)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The entire month of Ramadan is in essence a celebration of the Quran&rsquo;s revelation, which is described as a&nbsp;<strong>&ldquo;Guide and Mercy for those who do good.&rdquo; (Quran 31:3)<\/strong>.&nbsp; Ramadan celebrates God&rsquo;s Mercy by which He sent a guiding light in the Quran that leads human life towards the path of good and virtue and protects the human soul from evil and vice.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Muslims show their gratitude to God for this guidance by abstaining from eating, drinking and sexual intimacy during Ramadan, as a way of coming closer to God and developing a deep inner awareness of God&rsquo;s presence in life.&nbsp; This internal mechanism of feeling God&rsquo;s presence leads the soul to do right even under life&rsquo;s most difficult situations, and protects the soul against wrongdoing even when it is the easier or more tempting path to take.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">This is why the Quran switches to a most intimate relationship between God and servant immediately following the passage on fasting in Ramadan (Quran 2:183-185).<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>&ldquo;When My servants ask you about Me, I am close indeed&mdash;I hearken to the prayer of the supplicant when one calls on Me; so let them hearken to Me, and let them believe in Me, that they may go the right way.&rdquo; (Quran 2:186)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">When the soul enters into a station of gratitude and submission to its Lord, through fasting, there is a recognition that life has been given by God as a gift and trust to be used for good works that reflect God&rsquo;s mercy, compassion, love, generosity and so on.&nbsp; In fact, the Quran says that the natural inclination of our souls is to submit to God&rsquo;s Will by having sincere belief in One God and doing righteous acts of worship (Quran 30:30).&nbsp; As such, the very concept of sin, in the Islamic tradition, is known as an act of oppression against one&rsquo;s own soul for forcing it into a state that is antithetical to its very nature and created purpose (Quran 3:117, among many other verses).&nbsp; When a soul persists in sinning, it becomes a slave to its own lower desires, a prisoner of its own passions (Quran 25:43).<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Fasting, then, seeks to free the soul from these shackles by suppressing the lower self of desire and raising the God-conscious soul of giving that naturally aspires towards good.&nbsp; By depriving the soul of life&rsquo;s basic necessities for some hours, one is able to teach the soul self-restraint and self-control from such evils as anger, revenge, lying, stealing, sexual immorality and so on.&nbsp; This is why Prophet Muhammad said that&nbsp;<strong>&ldquo;When anyone of you is fasting on a day, he should neither indulge in obscene language nor should he raise his voice; and if anyone insults him or tries to quarrel with him, he should say: &lsquo;I am fasting.&rsquo;&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;The Prophet also warned Muslims not to make fasting an uneventful ritual that has no affect on the character and habits of a person:&nbsp;<strong>&ldquo;If anyone does not refrain from lies and false conduct, God has no need for him to abstain from his food and drink.&rdquo;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">One of the most important qualities fasting seeks to develop within an individual is humility before God and God&rsquo;s creation.&nbsp; Hunger and thirst cause one to realize that if it were not for God&rsquo;s Mercy and Sustenance, one would be in a most difficult and undesirable state of affairs.&nbsp; Fasting is a humbling experience, which is an important characteristic of a righteous soul, for false pride and arrogance can never live side-by-side with sincere piety.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The act of fasting, therefore, also provides the fortunate, wealthy members of society to experience for a time the pain and suffering which millions of people go through everyday without food, water and other basic necessities of life.&nbsp; Fasting bridges the gap between rich and poor, sustained and impoverished, fulfilled and needy.&nbsp; This experience should then inspire compassion and mercy, which is manifest by generosity of wealth and time to help those in need.&nbsp; Muslims are encouraged especially during this month to go out and feed the hungry and to spend their wealth on good causes, such as building schools, hospitals, soup kitchens and so on, in the tradition of Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, whose generosity would increase ten-folds during Ramadan.&nbsp; In the Islamic tradition, God promises to return all acts of goodness and generosity in this blessed month by ten-times, both in this world and in the hereafter.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Due to the blessings and rewards associated with Ramadan, Muslims are encouraged to share their food with their neighbors and to invite guests to their home to begin the fast at sunrise and for breaking of the fast at sunset.&nbsp; Muslims are also encouraged to significantly increase their worship to God during this month, and therefore special prayers are offered in every Mosque well into the night, with most Mosques packed with worshippers.&nbsp; As such, Ramadan always brings with it a strong communal atmosphere and ties between the community are strengthened greatly as a result.&nbsp; Most Muslims are therefore very sad to see the month of Ramadan go and its return is highly anticipated well in advance of its arrival.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">In conclusion, Ramadan is a celebration of God&rsquo;s guidance to humanity, through the Quran, which is a guide for doing good and a warning against evil.&nbsp; In order to bring the soul into harmony with the Quranic ideals of belief and virtue, fasting is prescribed as a way for individuals to come closer to God and to lift their souls to new heights of piety.&nbsp; In doing so, the entire human body is able to transform itself into an agent of positive moral and social change that seeks to replace miserliness with generosity, anger with patience, revenge with love, and war with peace&mdash;in effect, replacing good with evil in the world.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">A saying by God transmitted through Prophet Muhammad, known as a hadith<em>qudsi<\/em>, best explains the transformation that takes place in an individual through good acts, which in part are inspired by fasting.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>&ldquo;And the most beloved thing with which My servant comes nearer to Me is what I have enjoined upon him; and My servant keeps on coming closer to Me through performing extra righteous deeds till I love him.&nbsp; When I love him, I become the hearing with which he hears, seeing with which he sees, hands with he acts, and legs with which he walks; le Coran comme guide pour les gens, comme preuves claires indiquant la bonne direction et comme discernement (entre le bien et le mal).&nbsp;&raquo; (Coran 2:185)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Tout le mois de Ramadan est une c&eacute;l&eacute;bration de la r&eacute;v&eacute;lation du Coran, que Dieu d&eacute;crit ainsi :<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>&laquo;&nbsp;C&rsquo;est un guide et une mis&eacute;ricorde pour les bienfaisants.&nbsp;&raquo;&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>(Coran 31:3)<\/strong><strong>.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Le Ramadan est &eacute;galement une c&eacute;l&eacute;bration de la mis&eacute;ricorde de Dieu, par laquelle Il nous a envoy&eacute; le Coran, qui guide les gens vers la voie du bien et de la vertu et les prot&egrave;ge du mal et du vice.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Les musulmans d&eacute;montrent leur reconnaissance, envers Dieu, en s&rsquo;abstenant de manger, de boire et d&rsquo;avoir des contacts sexuels du lever au coucher du soleil, chaque jour de Ramadan.&nbsp; Il s&rsquo;agit l&agrave; d&rsquo;une fa&ccedil;on de se rapprocher de Lui et de d&eacute;velopper une plus grande conscience de Dieu dans sa vie de tous les jours.&nbsp; Cette conscience int&eacute;rieure, par laquelle on ressent la pr&eacute;sence de Dieu, incite l&rsquo;&acirc;me &agrave; faire le bien, m&ecirc;me dans les circonstances les plus difficiles de la vie, et prot&egrave;ge l&rsquo;&acirc;me contre le p&eacute;ch&eacute;, m&ecirc;me quand il se pr&eacute;sente comme la voie la plus facile ou la plus tentante &agrave; suivre.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">C&rsquo;est pourquoi le verset du Coran qui suit imm&eacute;diatement le passage sur le je&ucirc;ne du Ramadan (2:183-185) fait mention du lien profond unissant Dieu &agrave; Son serviteur&nbsp;:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>&nbsp;&laquo;&nbsp;Et quand Mes serviteurs t&rsquo;interrogent sur Moi, alors Je suis tout proche.&nbsp; Je r&eacute;ponds &agrave; la pri&egrave;re de celui qui M&rsquo;implore quand il M&rsquo;implore.&nbsp; Qu&rsquo;ils r&eacute;pondent donc &agrave; Mon appel et qu&rsquo;ils placent leur confiance en Moi; peut-&ecirc;tre seront-ils bien guid&eacute;s.&nbsp;&raquo; (Coran 2:186)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Quand, &agrave; travers le je&ucirc;ne, l&rsquo;&acirc;me entre en &eacute;tat de gratitude et de soumission envers son Seigneur, elle ne peut que reconna&icirc;tre que la vie lui a &eacute;t&eacute; offerte en pr&eacute;sent, par Dieu, et qu&rsquo;elle lui a &eacute;t&eacute; confi&eacute;e pour qu&rsquo;il l&rsquo;utilise dans des actes qui refl&egrave;tent, entre autres, la mis&eacute;ricorde, la compassion, l&rsquo;amour et la g&eacute;n&eacute;rosit&eacute; de Dieu.&nbsp; En fait, le Coran affirme que l&rsquo;inclination naturelle de notre &acirc;me est de se soumettre &agrave; la volont&eacute; de Dieu en L&rsquo;adorant de fa&ccedil;on exclusive et en accomplissant de bonnes &oelig;uvres (Coran 30:30).&nbsp; C&rsquo;est pourquoi le concept de p&eacute;ch&eacute;, en islam, en est un d&rsquo;oppression contre sa propre &acirc;me, car nous la for&ccedil;ons &agrave; entrer dans un &eacute;tat qui est &agrave; sexuelle, etc.&nbsp; C&rsquo;est pourquoi le proph&egrave;te Mohammed a dit&nbsp;: &laquo;&nbsp;<strong>Quand l&rsquo;un de vous je&ucirc;ne, il doit s&rsquo;abstenir de prof&eacute;rer des obsc&eacute;nit&eacute;s et d&rsquo;&eacute;lever la voix.&nbsp; Et si quelqu&rsquo;un l&rsquo;insulte ou cherche &agrave; entrer en conflit avec lui, qu&rsquo;il dise&nbsp;: &laquo;&nbsp;Je je&ucirc;ne&nbsp;&raquo;<\/strong>.&nbsp; Le Proph&egrave;te a &eacute;galement rappel&eacute; &agrave; ses fid&egrave;les que le je&ucirc;ne n&rsquo;est pas cens&eacute; &ecirc;tre sans effets sur le caract&egrave;re et les habitudes d&rsquo;une personne.&nbsp; Il a dit&nbsp;: &laquo;&nbsp;<strong>Si [celui qui je&ucirc;ne] ne s&rsquo;abstient pas de mentir ou de se comporter de mani&egrave;re inconvenable, Dieu n&rsquo;a pas besoin qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;abstienne de nourriture et de boisson.<\/strong>&nbsp;&raquo;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">L&rsquo;une des plus importantes qualit&eacute;s que la pratique du je&ucirc;ne puisse d&eacute;velopper chez l&rsquo;individu est l&rsquo;humilit&eacute; devant Dieu et Sa cr&eacute;ation.&nbsp; La faim et la soif font r&eacute;aliser que si ce n&rsquo;&eacute;tait de la mis&eacute;ricorde de Dieu et des moyens de subsistance qu&rsquo;Il nous accorde, notre situation serait tr&egrave;s difficile et d&eacute;sagr&eacute;able.&nbsp; Je&ucirc;ner est une le&ccedil;on d&rsquo;humilit&eacute; et l&rsquo;humilit&eacute; est une des qualit&eacute;s principales d&rsquo;une &acirc;me vertueuse; car la fiert&eacute; et l&rsquo;arrogance ne peuvent jamais cohabiter avec la pi&eacute;t&eacute; sinc&egrave;re.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Par ailleurs, le je&ucirc;ne permet aux personnes privil&eacute;gi&eacute;es d&rsquo;exp&eacute;rimenter, bien que temporairement, la souffrance que vivent des millions d&rsquo;autres personnes, &agrave; travers le monde, qui endurent la faim et la soif sur une base quotidienne.&nbsp; Le je&ucirc;ne r&eacute;tr&eacute;cit le gouffre entre les riches et les pauvres, en inspirant de la compassion aux riches, qui se montrent alors plus g&eacute;n&eacute;reux de leurs biens et de leur temps.&nbsp; Deshalb sollen sie auf Mich h&ouml;ren und an Mich glauben. Vielleicht werden sie den rechten Weg einschlagen.&rdquo; (Quran 2:186)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Wenn die Seele durch das Fasten in den Zustand der Dankbarkeit und Ergebenheit ihrem Herrn gegen&uuml;ber eintritt, ist dies eine Anerkennung, dass dieses Leben, das Gott ihr gegeben hat, ein Geschenk und etwas Anvertrautes ist, das f&uuml;r gute Werke genutzt werden soll, die Gottes Gnade, Zuneigung, Liebe, Gro&szlig;z&uuml;gigkeit und &auml;hnliches wiederspiegeln.&nbsp; Der Qur&acute;an unterrichtet uns dar&uuml;ber, dass die nat&uuml;rliche Veranlagung unserer Seelen darin besteht, uns Gottes Willen zu ergeben, indem wir aufrichtig an Gott glauben und rechtschaffene Werke tun (Quran 30:30).&nbsp; Die Vorstellung von S&uuml;nde ist daher in der islamischen Tradition bekannterma&szlig;en ein Akt der Unterdr&uuml;ckung unserer eigenen Seele, denn sie wird in einen Zustand gezwungen, der ihrer Natur und dem Zweck, zu dem sie geschaffen wurde, widerspricht (Quran 3:117, unter vielen anderen Versen).&nbsp; Wenn eine Seele immer weiter s&uuml;ndigt, wird sie zum Sklaven ihrer eigenen niedrigen Gel&uuml;ste, zur Gefangenen ihrer Leidenschaften (Quran 25:43).<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Das Fasten beabsichtigt also, die Seele von diesen Fesseln zu befreien, indem die niedrigen W&uuml;nsche unterdr&uuml;ckt werden und der gottesbewussten Seele das gegeben wird, was sie nat&uuml;rlicherweise an Gutem anstrebt. &nbsp;Wenn man der Seele f&uuml;r einige Stunden die grundlegenden Notwendigkeiten enth&auml;lt, erlangt man die F&auml;higkeit, seine Seele zu Selbstbeherrschung und Selbstkontrolle vor solchen Dingen wie Wut, Rache, L&uuml;ge, Stehlen, sexueller Unanst&auml;ndigkeit und so weiter zu erziehen.&nbsp; Aus diesem Grund sagte der Prophet Muhammad:&nbsp;<strong>&ldquo;Wenn irgend einer von euch einen Tag lang fastet, sollte er weder unanst&auml;ndige Sprache nachgehen, noch seine Stimme erheben; und wenn ihn jemand beschimpft oder versucht, mit ihm zu streiten, sollte er sagen: &acute;Ich faste.&acute;&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;Der Prophet warnte die Muslime davor, aus dem Fasten ein ereignisloses Ritual zu machen, ohne irgendeinen Einfluss auf den Charakter und die Gewohnheiten einer Person:<strong>&ldquo;Wenn irgend einer sich nicht vom L&uuml;gen und falschem Benehmen fernh&auml;lt, hat Gott keinen Bedarf daran, dass dieser sich des Essens und Trinkens enth&auml;lt.&rdquo;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Eine der wichtigsten Eigenschaften, die der Einzelne mit dem Fasten zu entwicken sucht, ist Demut vor Gott und der Sch&ouml;pfung Gottes.&nbsp; Hunger und Durst lassen einen realisieren, dass man sich, wenn Gottes Gnade und Unterhalt nicht w&auml;ren, in einem &auml;u&szlig;erste schwierigen und wenig w&uuml;nschenswerten Zustand befinden w&uuml;rde.&nbsp; Fasten ist eine Demut erzeugende Erfahrung, die eine wichtige Eigenschaft einer rechtschaffenen Seele ist, denn falscher Stolz&nbsp; und Arroganz k&ouml;nnen niemals Seite an Seite mit aufrichtiger Fr&ouml;mmigkeit leben. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Das Fasten bietet daher den gl&uuml;cklichen, wohlhabenen Mitgliedern der Gesellschaft die Erfahrung der Schmerzen und des Leidens, das Millionen von Menschen tagt&auml;glich erdulden, die jeden Tag ohne Essen, Wasser und andere Grundbed&uuml;rfnisse des Lebens sind. &nbsp;Das Fasten baut eine Br&uuml;cke zwischen den Reichen und den Armen, den Starken und den Schwachen, den Versorgten und den Bed&uuml;rftigen.&nbsp; Diese Erfahrung sollte Zuneigung und Gnade wecken, die sich in der Gro&szlig;z&uuml;gigkeit im Besitz und in Zeit, den Bed&uuml;rftigen zu helfen, wiederspiegelt. &nbsp;Muslime werden aufgefordert, besonders in diesem Monat hinauszugehen und den Hungrigen Essen zu geben und ihren Besitz f&uuml;r gute Dinge zu spenden, wie f&uuml;r den Bau von Schulen, Krankenh&auml;usern, Volksk&uuml;chen und so weiter, der Tradition des Propheten Muhammad folgend, dessen Gro&szlig;z&uuml;gigkeit sich im Ramadhan verzehnfachte. &nbsp;In der islamischen Tradition verspricht Gott, dass Er alle Taten der G&uuml;te und der Gro&szlig;z&uuml;gigkeit in diesem gesegneten Monat zehnfach zur&uuml;ckgibt, sowohl in dieser Welt als auch im Jenseits.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Aufgrund der Segnungen und des Lohns, die mit dem Ramadhan zusammenh&auml;ngen, werden Muslime aufgefordert, ihr Essen mit ihren Nachbarn zu teilen und G&auml;ste nach Hause einzuladen, um das Fasten bei Sonnenaufgang zu beginnen und bei Sonnenuntergang zu beenden.&nbsp; style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u658b\u6212\u8ffd\u6c42\u7684\u6700\u91cd\u8981\u54c1\u8d28\u4e4b\u4e00\uff0c\u662f\u5728\u771f\u4e3b\u548c\u88ab\u9020\u7269\u9762\u524d\u7684\u8c26\u900a\u3002\u9965\u997f\u548c\u53e3\u6e34\u4f1a\u8ba9\u4eba\u610f\u8bc6\u5230\uff0c\u5982\u679c\u6ca1\u6709\u771f\u4e3b\u7684\u601c\u60af\u548c\u7ed9\u517b\uff0c\u4ed6\u5c31\u4f1a\u6bcf\u51b5\u6108\u4e0b\uff0c\u5bf8\u6b65\u96be\u884c\u3002\u658b\u6212\u662f\u8ba9\u4eba\u8c26\u5351\u7684\u4f53\u9a8c\uff0c\u90a3\u662f\u6b63\u76f4\u8005\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u7279\u70b9\uff0c\u50b2\u6162\u81ea\u5927\u7edd\u4e0d\u4f1a\u4e0e\u771f\u8bda\u8654\u8bda\u540c\u884c\u3002<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p
