Istikh\u0101ra prayer is not legislated for removing doubt and uncertainty regarding a matter which the Muslim has not made up his mind about.&rdquo;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">*Question #5: (b) &ldquo;Is the du\u02bd\u0101 (supplication) of istikh\u0101ra prayer before the tasl\u012bm or after it?&rdquo;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> Shaykh al-Alb\u0101n\u012b answers: &ldquo;After the tasl\u012bm.&rdquo;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">*Question #12: (c) &ldquo;Is it allowed to repeat the istikh\u0101ra prayer?&rdquo;<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> Shaykh al-Alb\u0101n\u012b answers: &ldquo;It is allowed if his istikh\u0101ra prayer was not (performed in the way in which it is) legislated, and it is enough for it to be not legislated if he makes istikh\u0101ra to his Lord by (merely) his words, and not by his heart. And he himself is aware of this inattentiveness, so then he is forced to repeat (the istikh\u0101ra prayer).
