Chapter 52, Al-Toor (Mountain of Toor)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

This chapter of the sacred scripture takes its name from the opening verse in which God takes an oath by Mount Toor.  It is a mountain near the place that God spoke to Prophet Moses, peace be upon him.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

What an honour it is for a person if God speaks to him directly!  Sometimes one thinks, “Why does God not speak to us also?”  The truth is that God speaks to all<\/em><\/strong> human beings through the Quran, yet most people ignore it!  They do not take the time to find what the Quran says to them!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The purpose of God’s communication is to give us conviction in the truth of Islam and to guide us to the path of right conduct.  When we listen to God’s words we are convinced that this world has not been created without a purpose.  We understand that it is a test and there is a reward for the righteous and a painful end for those who deny the message.  To ensure that we don’t take this warning lightly, God takes some powerful oaths:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“By the oath of Mount Toor (the mountain where God spoke to Moses) and the written book (that has the record of every person’s actions in this life) which is in an open manuscript (it will be available for reading on the Day when the dead will come back to life) and by the oath of the ‘The Frequently Visited House’ (refers to a place directly above the sacred Ka’ba around which angles go in circles) and by the oath of the “raised roof” (the sky) and by the oath of the swelling ocean.” (Quran 52:1-6)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Even a simple statement from the Lord of the Worlds would have been enough.  If He has taken five oaths, then it must be so we pay close attention to His warning.  The purpose of that warning is to tell us of the terrible punishment:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Indeed, the punishment of your Lord shall take place (on the Day when all will be judged<\/em>). There shall be none to prevent it.” (Quran 52:7-8)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

What will happen on that terrifying day?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“(It will be<\/em>) The day when the sky shall tremble uncontrollably…and the mountains will fly through the air (as dust particles after being reduced to dust<\/em>).” (Quran 52:9-10)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

If we are deluding ourselves by saying things like: “Well, I am not convinced” or “It doesn’t make sense to me,” then listen to what God says to all those who question the true warnings:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Destruction be to the rejecters (who deny the coming judgment<\/em>) on that day (the Day of Judgment).” (Quran 52:11)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Have you ever thought why do some people believe and some do not?  After all they are all made of bones and flesh, so what’s the big difference?  Why do people who are otherwise intelligent and capable, not believe in God’s words?  The Quran states:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“(The rejecters are<\/em>) those who are in (empty) discourse amusing themselves.” (Quran 52:12)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Those who reject faith are busy enjoying themselves.  They do as they please with little concern for the day when they will be judged for everything they did.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

In this world people continue to enjoy their lives and are honored by the society even if they disobey God and anger Him all the time, but in the Hereafter they will be treated according to their deeds and their faith:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

(Do not forget<\/em>) The Day when they will be forcibly shoved into the Fire of Hell. (Quran 52:13)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

And all their denial and their logics will be of no use:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“(It will be said to them:<\/em>) ‘This is the Fire you used to deny!’” (Quran 52:14)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

They amuse themselves by making fun of those who follow the true religion by accusing them of being brainwashed. But on that day when they will be thrown into the fire, they will be asked:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“‘Is this magic (as you used to say about the miracles of the prophets and the books God gave them) or are you unable to see?’ (Today you are unable to deny its existence!).” (Quran 52:15)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

God is not unjust. In this world, the path of righteousness might not be pleasant at times, but keep in mind that the bumps on the road are a mere test from God.  When people around you start blaming the religion and saying, “If your religion was so good then why are you being treated like this?”, “Where is the success you say God has promised?”, then remember that this world is not the place where we can see all the outcomes of our deeds.  The results will be shown in the life that comes after death, when those who led a frivolous life spend in vanities will be told:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Enter into it! Whether you bear it with patience or you do not, it will make no difference to you! (In any event, your suffering will be the same.<\/em>) You are being punished only for what (sins<\/em>) you used to do.” (Quran 52:16)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Those punished won’t be punished without reason!  When those who led a righteous life will be presented with the amazingly beautiful Paradise:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Truly the righteous shall be (enjoying themselves<\/em>) in Paradise and its bounties, enjoying what (blessings<\/em>) their Lord gives them. (One of the greatest blessings is that<\/em>) their Lord saved them from the punishment of the Blaze (Hellfire<\/em>).” (Quran 52:17-18)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

While people all around them were only concerned with the physical pleasures of the world - money, sex, and alcohol to name a few - these God conscious people remembered that life is not made just for enjoyment but is a test of obedience.  Thus, their reward will be the eternal enjoyment of Paradise, the unending pleasure:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“(They will be told:<\/em>) “Eat and drink to your heart’s content, this is the reward for your good deeds.”  They will be reclining on couches arranged in rows and We shall marry them to fair maidens with large, wide eyes.” (Quran 52:19-20)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

The reality of our lives is that our pleasure is incomplete without our families.  That is why we celebrate holidays and personal achievements with our family members.  God will join all the family members who followed the righteous path even if they are on different levels according to their deeds.  Those on the lower ranks will be raised in level to be united with their parents, children, and spouses.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“We shall unite the true believers with those of their descendants who follow them in their faith, and shall not deny them the reward of their good deeds - everyone is responsible for his deeds.” (Quran 52:21)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

It is a thoughtful reminder that we should not only be concerned with getting into Paradise for ourselves, but should think about helping our families and friends join us. The following verses speak of joy and playful activities that are enjoyed to their fullest with our loved ones:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“(Continuing with the bounties of the faithful in Paradise, God says) In addition (to all the other bounties mentioned), We shall grant them (an abundance of) fruit and meat (which they shall have) as (and when) they desire (without delay or interruption). There (in Paradise) they will pass around (to enjoy) a cup (of pure drink) in which there is no (fear of) absurd talk and sin (the wine of Paradise will not intoxicate people). Their young (servants in Paradise) shall wait on them (serving them whatever they wish), appearing to be (like) concealed (preserved) pearls (because of their refined manners).” (Quran 22- 24)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Another pleasurable activity is to sit with family and friends and reminisce about the good old times. Paradise will provide an opportunity to do that as well:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“They (the people of Paradise<\/em>) will face each other asking questions.” (Quran 52:25)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

They will remember the good deeds they did in this life to gain God’s pleasure. The finest among them was that they feared God even when they were around their families:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

They will say, “Before this (in the world<\/em>) we used to be fearful (of Hell as we sat<\/em>) among our families.” (Quran 52:26)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Someone might question what is so special about being around one’s family? When you think about it, it is easy to act properly when you are with like-minded people or those whom you respect, or even those who look up to you. In contrast, it is more challenging to act properly when you are alone with your family members, who know you intimately. You need not fake piety and  being aware of God in a situation like that really shows your true faith. The main characteristic of these God conscious people is that they do not take credit for themselves. They believe it all to be a favor of God. So in Paradise too they will express the same sentiments:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“However, Allah favored us and saved us from the punishment of the scorching wind (of Hell<\/em>).” (Quran 52:27)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

It’s important that we keep praying to God alone and have faith that He will enable us to follow the right path if we remain true to our commitment. This is what the people of Paradise will remember:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Indeed, before this (in the world<\/em>) we always used to pray to Him (to save us from Hell<\/em>). (God answered our prayers because<\/em>) He is certainly the One who treats with kindness, the Most Merciful.\" (Quran 52:28)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Although the verse above is so clear, and faith in one God is such a simple matter, but those who stubbornly deny the truth can make a thousand excuses, simply because they don’t want to lose pride in their own “principles” and petty philosophies of life much like the disbelievers of the city of Mecca. The Meccan pagans would use any<\/em><\/strong> tactic to prove that this Quran is nothing but poetry that the Prophet was just making it up or maybe was under some sort of spell.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“So (O Muhammad<\/em>) continue reminding (and advising people about God<\/em>) for, by the grace of your Lord, you are neither a fortune-teller (who receives news form the jinn<\/em>) nor a madman (as the unbelievers claim<\/em>). Or (besides saying this<\/em>) do they say, ‘He (Prophet Muhammad<\/em>) is a poet whose calamity of time (death<\/em>) we are eagerly awaiting?’ Say, ‘Wait (to see my success<\/em>), for I am also waiting with you (to see your disastrous end)<\/em>.’” (Quran 52:29-31)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Therefore, in the following verses God asks them a series of questions in a powerful interrogative style, to make them ponder over the foolishness of their allegations against the person whom they had known all their life to be a man of integrity:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Or is their intelligence (of which they are proud) commanding them to do this (to reject faith despite being shown proofs) or are they (not accepting faith because they are) a rebellious nation?” (Quran 52:32)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Is it really possible that the Quran could be fabricated? Don’t they have any sense?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Or are (they rejecting faith and the Quran because<\/em>) they (are<\/em>) saying, ‘He (Prophet Muhammad<\/em>) has forged it? The fact of the matter is that they refuse to accept faith (and will not accept despite every proof shown to them<\/em>).” (Quran 52:33)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

If it is so simple, then why don’t they bring a scripture like this?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Let them produce a speech like it (the Quran<\/em>) if they are truthful (in their claim that this Quran is forged by a mortal<\/em>).” (Quran 52:34)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

If they deny God, then how did they create themselves?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Or (if they refuse to believe in God Who created them, then) were they created without a Creator or are they (under the misconception that they are) creators themselves?” (Quran 22:35)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

The magnificent universe gives them a moment to think:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Or (if as they say, God did not create everything, then) did they (themselves) create the heavens and the earth?  The fact is that they have no conviction (no faith in the fact that God is the only Creator and the only One deserving worship).” (Quran 22:36)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

They think they control the world.  They must distribute God’s favors then!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Or are the treasures (bounties) of your Lord with them (in their control) or (if they do not have complete control) do they possess authority (to distribute God’s bounties as they please)?” (Quran 22:37)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Since the unbelievers have no say in the distribution of God’s favors, they have no say in who God chooses to be His prophet and deliver His message.  Thus, there is no reason to reject a prophet simply because he was born in a place and time far from us.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Do they have access to the heaven from where they get proof of their theories?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Or do they (the unbelievers) have a ladder (stretching into the heavens) by which they are able to eavesdrop (divine revelation that permits them to disbelieve?)  So (if they have heard some revelation to substantiate their claims,) let their eavesdropper produce a clear proof (from the revelations to prove the legitimacy of their disbelief).  Or (<\/strong>are<\/strong> <\/strong>you polytheists saying that) daughters are for Him (by your claim that the angels are the daughters of God) and sons (are reserved exclusively) for you (because you like to have sons)?” (Quran 22:38-39)<\/strong> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Some people avoid these reminders as if they will be asked to pay for listening to the truth.  But the true caller to faith, like a prophet, will never ask for anything in return:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Or do (the polytheists reject faith because) you (O Prophet Muhammad) ask them a fee so (and because of this fee they feel as if) they are burdened by a penalty (making it difficult for them to accept your message)?  Or do they (reject faith because they) have knowledge of the unseen (proving their claims) which they are writing (down to ensure that it continues)? (The fact is clear that the unbelievers and the polytheists have nothing concrete to substantiate their beliefs and actions).  Or are they plotting something (against Prophet Muhammad which they are waiting to carry out)?  Indeed those who commit disbelief will themselves be ensnared (trapped) in a plot (when God punishes them).” (Quran 22:40-42)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

The truth is that all the deniers of God and His Prophet have something else in their hearts which they depend on to provide their needs.  It could be Jesus, an idol, a grave, wealth, power, or anything which they believe will sustain them and save them:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Or do (they reject faith because<\/em>) they have a god besides Allah? God is Pure (free<\/em>) from the partners they ascribe to Him (none can be worshipped except God.<\/em>)” (Quran 22:43)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Their mistaken belief and stubbornness to accept the truth makes them see everything from a distorted vision.  Therefore, God says that even if they see a sign of punishment coming over them they will dismiss it as a product of the physical laws of the universe, not giving any thought to the One who made these laws as well as the universe:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

(The unbelievers are so obstinate that<\/em>) If they see a part of the sky falling down (towards them as punishment<\/em>) they (will deny it and<\/em>) say, “This is (only<\/em>) a cloud in stacked (thick<\/em>) layers.” (Quran 22:44)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

After all the efforts to remove the misunderstanding from the minds of these people and sincerely calling them to the way of God, the last thing to do is to ignore them:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“So (it is best that you) leave them (without insistently preaching to them) until they meet their day (the Day of Judgement) when they will fall unconscious (after hearing the blast of the trumpet).” (Quran 22:45)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

We should try our utmost with all sincerity to call people to the right path.  But after a certain time when we are convinced that we have done all that we could, it is time to ignore them.  At times, such people not only deny the message but also try to bring about weak misconceptions that consume one’s time, we should avoid such people. God says:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“The (Day of Judgement will be the<\/em>) day when their schemes will be of no benefit to them (but rather be to their detriment<\/em>) and they will not be assisted (against God’s punishment<\/em>).  There shall surely be another punishment (in this world<\/em>) besides this (punishment of the life to come<\/em>) for the oppressors (the unbelievers<\/em>) but they have no idea.” (Quran 22:46-47)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

The thing to do in all such trying situations is to be patient as God comforted Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“(Therefore, O Prophet Muhammad) Bear patiently with the decision of your Lord (to allow the unbelievers respite until the appointed time of their punishment) for you are under Our protection (and have nothing to fear from them).  Glorify the praises of your Lord when you rise (sleep and stand in prayer).  And glorify Him during a portion of the night (in the night prayer of Tahajjud) and even after the stars have vanished (at early dawn).” (Quran 22:48-49)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

God is incredibly kind to us! He wants us to avoid the most dangerous thing which might creep into our heart and destroy our sincere intentions: self admiration.  Naturally, when we mingle too much with people who are not on the right track, we feel sorry for them but at times we also feel superior to them.  That is why God reminds us that to avoid this feeling we only have one tool: to glorify God at all times.  Thus, we will always be alert and conscious that it is God alone, who is most Supreme and free from flaws.  Whereas, we human beings can never declare ourselves free from punishment until God saves us out of His mercy on the Day of Judgment.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Dieses Kapitel der heiligen Schrift erhielt seinen Titel nach dem eröffnenden Vers, in dem Gott einen Eid auf den Berg Tur schwört.  Dies ist ein Berg in der Nähe des Ortes, wo Gott zu dem Propheten Moses, Friede sei mit ihm, gesprochen hat.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Welch eine Ehre ist das für einen Menschen, wenn Gott direkt zu ihm spricht! Manchmal denkt man: \"Warum spricht Gott nicht auch zu uns?\"  Die Wahrheit ist, dass Gott zu allen<\/em><\/strong>Menschen durch den Qur´an spricht, die meisten Menschen jedoch ignorieren ihn!  Sie nehmen sich nicht die Zeit, um herauszufinden, was der Qur´an ihnen sagt! <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Der Sinn von Gottes Kommunikation ist, uns die Überzeugung an der Wahrheit des Islam zu vermitteln und uns auf den Weg des rechten Verhaltens zu führen.  Wenn wir auf Gottes Worte hören, sind wir davon überzeugt, dass diese Welt nicht ohne Grund erschaffen wurde.  Wir verstehen, dass dies eine Prüfung ist, und dass es einen Lohn für die Rechtschaffenen und ein schmerzliches Ende für diejenigen gibt, die die Botschaft ablehnen.  Um sicherzustellen, dass wir diese Warnung nicht leicht nehmen, schwört Gott einige mächtige Eide:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Bei dem Berge Tur (dem Berg, wo Gott zu Moses sprach)und bei dem Buche (das den Bericht von den Taten einer jeden Person in seinem Leben enthält), das geschrieben istauf feinem, ausgebreitetem Pergament (das man an dem Tag, wo der Tote wieder zu Leben kommt, lesen kann) und bei dem viel besuchten Haus (bezieht sich auf einen Ort, der sich direkt über der heiligen Kaaba befindet und um den die Engel kreisen) und bei der hochgehobenen Decke (dem Himmel) und beim brennenden Meer!\" (Quran 52:1-6)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Schon eine einfache Aussage des Herrn der Welten wäre genug gewesen.  Wenn er aber fünf Eide geschworen hat, dann müssen wir Seine Warnung sehr ernst nehmen.  Der Sinn dieser Warnung besteht darin, uns vor der schrecklichen Strafe zu warnen:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Wahrlich, die Strafe deines Herrn trifft sicher ein (an dem Tag, wenn über alles abgerechnet wird<\/em>).  Niemand kann sie abwehren.\" (Quran 52:7-8)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Was wird an diesem furchterregenden Tag geschehen?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"(Es wird sein<\/em>) am Tage, an dem der Himmel heftig schwanktund die Berge durch die Luft fliegen (wie Staubpartikel<\/em>).\" (Quran 52:9-10)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Wenn wir uns selbst etwas vormachen, indem wir Dinge sagen, wie: \"Nun, ich bin nicht überzeugt\" oder \"Das ergibt für mich keinen Sinn\", dann höre auf das, was Gott zu allen denen sagt, die diese wahrhaftigen Warnungen in Frage stellen:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Wehe also an jenem Tage den Leugnern (die den Tag des Gerichts leugnen).\" (Quran 52:11)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Hast du jemals darüber nachgedacht, warum einige Leute glauben und andere nicht?  Schließlich sind sie alle aus Knochen und Fleisch, wo ist also der große Unterschied?  Warum glauben Menschen, die in anderen Dingen intelligent und fähig sind, nicht an die Worte Gottes?  Der Qur´an sagt:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"(Die Leugner sind die,) die mit eitler Rede ein Spiel treiben!\" (Quran 52:12)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Diejenigen, die den Glauben ablehnen, sind damit beschäftigt, sich zu vergnügen.  Sie machen, was sie wollen, mit wenig Sorge um den Tag, wenn sie für alles, was sie taten, Rechenschaft ablegen müssen.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

In dieser Welt fahren die Leute fort, ihr Leben zu genießen, und sie werden von der Gesellschaft geehrt, auch wenn sie Gott ungehorsam sind und Ihn die ganze Zeit ärgern, aber im Jenseits werden sie ihren Taten und ihrem Glauben entsprechend behandelt:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

„(Vergesst nicht den<\/em>) Tag, wenn sie nach und nach in das Feuer der Hölle gestoßen werden.\"<\/strong> <\/strong>(Quran 52:13)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Doch all ihr Leugnen und ihre Logik wird ihnen nichts nützen:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"(Dann wird zu ihnen gesagt:<\/em>) \"Das ist das Feuer, das ihr zu leugnen pflegtet!\" (Quran 52:14)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Sie amüsieren sich, indem sie sich über diejenigen, die der wahren Religion folgen, lustig machen, indem sie diesen vorwerfen, einer Gehirnwäsche unterzogen worden zu sein.  Aber an jenem Tage, wenn sie in das Feuer geworfen werden, werden sie gefragt werden:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"‘Ist dies wohl ein Zauberwerk (wie sie es von den Wundern der Propheten und von den Büchern, die Gott ihnen gegeben hat, behauptet haben<\/em>), oder seht ihr es nicht? (Heute könnt ihr seine Existenz nicht leugnen!<\/em><\/strong>)<\/strong>\" (Quran 52:15)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Gott ist nicht ungerecht, der Weg der Rechtschaffenheit mag nicht immer angenehm sein, aber behalte im Kopf, dass die Unebenheiten auf der Straße bloß eine Prüfung Gottes sind.  Wenn die Menschen um dich herum anfangen, die Religion zu beschuldigen und sagen: \"Wenn deine Religion so gut ist, warum wirst du dann so behandelt?\", \"Wo ist der Erfolg, von dem du sagst, Gott habe ihn versprochen?\", dann erinnere dich daran, dass diese Welt nicht der Ort ist, an dem wir alle die Ergebnisse unserer Taten sehen werden.  Die Ergebnisse werden im Leben nach dem Tod gezeigt, wenn denjenigen, die ein frivoles Leben in Nichtigkeiten geführt haben, gesagt wird:  <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Brennt darin; und ob ihr euch geduldig oder ungeduldig erweist, es (das Leiden<\/em>) wird für euch gleich sein. Ihr werdet nur für das entlohnt, was ihr (an Sünden<\/em>) getan habt.\" (Quran 52:16)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Diejenigen, die bestraft werden, werden nicht ohne Grund bestraft!  Wenn denjenigen, die ein rechtschaffenes Leben geführt haben, das erstaunlich schöne Paradies präsentiert wird:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Wahrlich, die Gottesfürchtigen sind in Gärten in (einem Zustand) der Wonne, sie erfreuen sich der Gaben, die ihr Herr ihnen beschert hat, und ihr Herr wird sie vor der Pein der \u01e6ahim (dem Höllenfeuer<\/em>) bewahren (das ist eine der größten Gaben<\/em>).\" (Quran 52:17-18)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Während sich alle Menschen um sie herum nur um die körperlichen Vergnügungen der Welt beschäftigt haben – Geld, Sex und Alkohol, um nur einige zu nennen – haben sich diese Gottesbewussten Menschen daran erinnert, dass das Leben nicht nur zum Vergnügen da ist, sondern als Gehorsamsprüfung.  Daher wird ihre Belohnung das ewige Vergnügen des Paradieses sein, die unendliche Freude:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"(Ihnen wird gesagt werden:<\/em>) \"Esset und trinkt und lasset es euch wohl bekommen für das, was ihr getan habt.\" Gelehnt werden sie sein auf Ruhebetten in Reihen. Und Wir werden sie mit Huris vermählen.\" (Quran 52:19-20)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Die Realität unserer Leben ist, dass unsere Freude unvollständig ist ohne unsere Familien.  Das ist der Grund, warum wir Festtage und persönlicher Errungenschaften mit unseren Familienangehörigen feiern.  Gott wird alle Familienangehörigen, die dem rechten Weg gefolgt sind, versammeln, auch wenn sie aufgrund ihrer Taten verschiedene Stufen haben.  Diejenigen mit niedrigeren Rängen werden erhoben, damit sie mit ihren Eltern, Kindern und Ehegatten vereint werden.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Und diejenigen, die glauben und (diejenigen, die ihnen) folgen im Glauben von ihren Nachkommen; mit denen wollen Wir ihre Nachkommen vereinen. Und Wir werden ihnen ihre Werke nicht im geringsten schmälern. Jedermann ist von dem abhängig, was er gewirkt hat.\" (Quran 52:21)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

 <\/strong>(teil 2 von 3)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Es ist eine nachdenkliche Erinnerung, dass wir nicht nur darum besorgt sein sollten, dass wir selbst ins Paradies kommen, sondern wir sollten auch daran denken, unseren Familien und Freunden zu helfen, uns zu begleiten.  Der folgende Vers spricht von Freuden und spielerischen Aktivitäten, die am meisten genossen werden, wenn wir sie mit unseren Lieben teilen:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"(Gott spricht weiter über die Gaben der Gläubigen im Paradies:<\/em>)Und Wir werden sie (zusätzlich zu allen erwähnten Gaben reichlich<\/em>) mit Früchten und Fleisch versorgen, wie sie es nur wünschen mögen (unverzüglich und ohne Unterbrechung<\/em>).  Dort (im Paradies<\/em>) greifen sie nach einem Becher (eines reinen Getränks<\/em>), durch den man weder zu sinnlosem Gerede noch zu Sündhaftigkeit verleitet wird (der Wein des Paradieses hat keine Nebenwirkungen auf die Menschen<\/em>) und sie werden von ihren Jünglingen (mit allem<\/em>) bedient, als ob sie wohlverwahrte Perlen wären (aufgrund ihres guten Verhaltens<\/em>).\" (Quran 22- 24)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Eine weitere vergnügliche Aktivität ist es, mit Familie und Freunden zusammen zu sitzen und sich über die guten alten Zeiten zu unterhalten.  Im Paradies wird es ebenfalls Gelegenheit geben, dies zu tun:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Und sie (die Leute des Paradieses<\/em>) wenden sich fragend aneinander.\" (Quran 52:25)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Sie werden sich an die guten Taten erinnern, die sie in diesem Leben verrichtet haben, um die Zufriedenheit Gottes zu erlangen. Das beste unter ihnen war, dass sie Gott fürchteten, selbst wenn sie mit ihren Familien waren:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"(und<\/em>) sie sagen: \"Wahrlich, früher (in dieser Welt<\/em>) bei unseren Angehörigen waren wir ängstlich (vor dem Höllenfeuer wenn wir zusammen saßen<\/em>).<\/strong>\" (Quran 52:26)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Jemand könnte fragen, was daran besonders ist, mit seiner Familie zu sein?  Wenn du darüber nachdenkst, ist es leicht, richtig zu handeln, wenn du mit gleich-gesinnten Leuten bist oder mit denen, die du respektierst oder gar mit denen, die zu dir aufblicken.   Im Gegensatz dazu ist es herausfordernder, richtig zu handeln, wenn du mit deinen Familienangehörigen allein bist, die dich tiefgründig kennen.  Du brauchst keine falsche Frömmigkeit und sich in solchen Situationen Gottes bewusst zu sein, zeigt deinen wahren Glauben.  Die Haupteigenschaft dieser Gottes-bewussten Menschen, ist, dass sie nichts selbst erwirkt haben.  Sie glauben, dass alles eine Gunst Gottes ist.  Daher werden sie auch dieselben Gefühle zum Ausdruck bringen: <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Doch Gott ist uns Gnädig gewesen und hat uns vor der Pein des sengenden Windes (der Hölle<\/em>) bewahrt.\" (Quran 52:27)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Es ist wichtig, dass wir weiter Gott Allein anbeten und dass wir darauf vertrauen, dass Er uns befähigen wird, dem rechten Weg zu folgen, wenn wir unserer Verpflichtung treu bleiben wollen.  Dies ist das, woran sich die Leute des Paradieses erinnern werden:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Wir pflegten vormals (in dieser Welt<\/em>) zu Ihm zu beten (damit Er uns vor der Hölle bewahrt; Gott erhörte unsere Gebete, denn<\/em>) Er ist der Gütige, der Barmherzige.\"  (Quran 52:28)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Obwohl der obige Vers so deutlich ist und der Glaube an Einen Gott so eine einfache Angelegenheit sein kann, können diejenigen, die hartnäckig die Wahrheit leugnen, tausende Entschuldigungen finden, einfach weil sie nicht den Stolz ihrer eigenen Prinzipien und die vielen schönen Philosophien des Lebens verlieren wollen, wie die Ungläubigen in der Stadt Mekka.  Die mekkanischen Heiden benutzten jede <\/em><\/strong>Taktik, um zu beweisen, dass der Qur´an nichts als Dichtung ist, die der Prophet erfand oder vielleicht unter einer Art Zauber. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\" So (o Muhammad<\/em>) ermahne darum (und berate die Menschen über Gott<\/em>); auf Grund der Gnade deines Herrn bist du weder ein Wahrsager (der Nachrichten von den \u01e6inn erhält<\/em>) noch ein Besessener (wie die Ungläubigen behaupten<\/em>).  Oder sagen sie etwa: \"(Er ist) ein Dichter; wir wollen das Unheil (seines Todes<\/em>) abwarten, das die Zeit über ihn bringen wird?\"  Sprich: \"Wartet nur (damit ihr meinen Erfolg seht<\/em>)! Ich bin mit euch bei den Wartenden (um euer verderbliches Ende zu sehen<\/em>).’\" (Quran 52:29-31)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Daher stellt Gott im folgenden Vers eine Reihe von Fragen, in einem kraftvollen, fragenden Stil, damit sie über die Dummheit ihrer Behauptungen gegen die Person, die sie ihr ganzes Leben lang als Mann der Rechtschaffenheit gekannt haben, nachdenken:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Ist es ihr Verstand (auf den sie stolz sind<\/em>), der ihnen solches anbefiehlt (den Glauben abzulehnen, obwohl ihnen Beweise gezeigt werden<\/em>), oder sind sie ein widerspenstiges Volk?\" (Quran 52:32)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Ist es wirklich möglich, dass der Qur´an erdichtet sein könnte?  Haben sie denn keinen Verstand?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Oder sagen sie etwa: \"Er (Muhammad<\/em>) hat ihn (den Quran<\/em>) aus der Luft gegriffen (und weigern sie sich zu glauben<\/em>)?\" Nein, aber sie wollen es nicht glauben (egal welche Beweise man ihnen bringt<\/em>).\" (Quran 52:33)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Wenn es so einfach ist, warum bringen sie dann nicht eine Schrift hervor wie diesen?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Lass sie denn eine Verkündigung gleicher Art (wie den Qur´an<\/em>) beibringen, wenn sie die Wahrheit sagen (mit ihrer Behauptung, der Qur´an sei von einem Sterblichen erdichtet worden<\/em>)!\" (Quran 52:34)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

(teil 3 von 3)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Wenn sie Gott leugnen, wie haben sie sich dann selbst geschaffen?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Oder (wenn sie sich weigern, an Gott zu glauben, Der sie erschuf) sind sie wohl durch nichts erschaffen worden, oder (sind sie dem Missverständnis erlegen) sind sie gar selbst die Schöpfer?\" (Quran 52:35)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Das prächtige Universum gibt ihnen einen Anlass zum Nachdenken:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Oder (wenn sie sagen, Gott hat nicht alles geschaffen) schufen sie die Himmel und die Erde (selbst)? Nein, aber sie haben keine Gewissheit (und keinen Glauben an die Tatsache, dass Gott der einzige Schöpfer ist, und Der Eine, Der anzubeten ist).\" (Quran 52:36)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Sie denken, sie besäßen die Kontrolle über die Welt.  Dann müssen sie also Gottes Gunst ausschütten! <\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Oder haben sie die Schätze (die Gaben) deines Herrn zu eigen (unter ihrer Kontrolle), oder (wenn sie nicht die vollständige Kontrolle darüber haben) sind sie die Herrschenden (die Gottes Gaben verteilen, wie sie wollen)?\" (Quran 52:37)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Wie die Ungläubigen nichts über die Verteilung von Gottes Gaben zu sagen haben, haben sie auch nichts darüber zu sagen, wen Gott dazu auserwählt, Sein Prophet zu sein und Seine Botschaft zu überbringen.  Also gibt es keinen Grund dafür, einen Propheten abzulehnen, nur weil er an einem Ort und zu einer Zeit geboren wurde, die weit von uns entfernt sind.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Haben sie Zutritt zum Himmel, oder von woher erhalten sie Beweise für ihre Theorien?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Oder haben sie (die Ungläubigen) eine Leiter (die in die Himmel reicht), auf der sie (einer göttlichen Offenbarung, die es ihnen erlaubt, ungläubig zu sein,)  lauschen können? Dann (wenn sie einige Offenbarungen gehört haben, die ihre Ansprüche begründen,) möge ihr Lauscher einen deutlichen Beweis beibringen (um ihren Unglauben zu legitimieren).  Oder (sagt ihr Götzendiener) Er hat wohl die Töchter für Sich (denn ihr behauptet, die Engel seien die Töchter Gottes), und habt ihr die Söhne (exklusiv für euch, weil ihr es liebt, Söhne zu haben)?\" (Quran 52:38-39)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Einige Menschen vermeiden diese Erinnerungen, als würde von ihnen verlangt, dafür zu bezahlen, der Wahrheit zuzuhören.  Aber der wahrhaftige Aufrufer zum Glauben, wie ein Prophet, wird niemals etwas im Gegenzug verlangen:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Oder (lehnen die Götzendiener den Glauben ab, weil) du (o Muhammad) einen Lohn von ihnen verlangst, so dass (sie sich wegen dieses Lohnes fühlen, als wären) sie mit einer Schuldenlast beladen (und das macht es ihnen schwer, deine Botschaft zu akzeptieren)?  Oder (lehnen sie den Glauben ab, weil sie) Kenntnis von dem Verborgenen besitzen, so dass sie (es) niederschreiben (um sicher zu sein, dass es weitergeht)? (Tatsache ist, dass weder die Ungläubigen noch die Götzendiener etwas Konkretes haben, das ihre Ansichten und Taten untermauert)   Oder beabsichtigen sie, eine List (gegen den Propheten Muhammad) anzuwenden (auf deren Durchführung sie warten)? Die Ungläubigen sind es, die überlistet werden (wenn Gott sie bestraft).\" (Quran 52:40-42)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Die Wahrheit ist, dass alle Leugner Gottes und Seines Propheten etwas anderes in ihren Herzen haben, von dem sie in ihren Bedürfnissen abhängig sind. Das könnte Jesus, ein Götze, ein Grab, Reichtum, Macht oder irgendetwas anderes sein, von dem sie annehmen, dass es sie versorgt und schützt.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Oder (lehnen sie den Glauben ab, weil) sie einen (anderen) Gott statt Allah haben? Hoch Erhaben ist Gott über all das, was sie (Ihm) beigesellen (keiner außer Ihm kann angebetet werden).\" (Quran 52:43)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Ihr irrtümlicher Glaube und ihre Hartnäckigkeit, die Wahrheit zu akzeptieren, lässt sie alles aus einer verdrehten Sicht sehen.  Daher sagt Gott, dass selbst wenn sie ein Zeichen für die Strafe über sich kommen sehen, werden sie es als Produkt der physikalischen Gesetze des Universums verwerfen, ohne auch nur einen Gedanken an den Einen zu verschwenden, der sowohl diese Gesetze als auch das Universum gemacht hat.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

„(Die Ungläubigen sind so hartnäckig, dass wenn sie) ein Stück vom Himmel niederfallen sehen würden (als Strafe für sie, dann) würden sie sagen: \"(Das ist nur) ein Haufen Wolken.\"<\/strong> <\/strong>(Quran 52:44)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Nach all den Anstrengungen, das Missverständnis aus den Köpfen dieser Menschen auszuräumen, und sie ernsthaft auf den Weg Gottes zu rufen, ist das letzte, was man tun kann, sie zu ignorieren:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"(Also ist es das beste) sie allein zu lassen (ohne ständig zu predigen), bis sie ihrem Tag (des Gerichts) begegnen, an dem sie vom Blitzschlag getroffen werden (nachdem sie den Engel in das Horn blasen gehört haben).\" (Quran 52:45)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Wir sollten mit aller Aufrichtigkeit unser bestes versuchen, die Menschen auf den richtigen Weg zu rufen.  Doch nach einer gewissen Zeit, wenn wir davon überzeugt sind, dass wir alles getan haben, das wir können, sollten wir sie ignorieren.  Manchmal leugnen solche Menschen nicht nur die Botschaft, sondern sie bringen schwache Missverständnisse hervor, um unsere Zeit in Anspruch zu nehmen; solche Leute sollten wir meiden.  Gott sagt:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"Dem Tag (des Gerichts), an dem ihnen ihre List nicht im geringsten nützt, noch wird ihnen (gegen die Strafe Gottes) geholfen werden.  Und für jene, die freveln, ist wahrlich (noch) eine Strafe außer dieser (in dieser Welt bestimmt, abgesehen von der Strafe im Jenseits).  Jedoch die meisten von ihnen (den Ungläubigen) wissen es nicht.\" (Quran 52:46-47)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Das, was man in allen diesen Situationen tun muss, ist geduldig sein, so, wie Gott den Propheten Muhammad, Gottes Segen und Frieden sei mit ihm, getröstet hat:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

\"(O Muhammad,) So sei denn geduldig mit dem Befehl deines Herrn (den Ungläubigen Aufschub bis zur festgelegten Zeit ihrer Strafe zu gewähren); denn du stehst unter Unserem Schutz (und hast von ihnen nichts zu befürchten); und lobpreise deinen Herrn, wenn du aufstehst (von Schlaf und im Gebet stehst). Und preise Ihn auch während eines Teils der Nacht (im Nachtgebet von Tahajjud) und beim Weichen der Sterne (am frühen Morgen).\" <\/strong>(Quran 52:<\/strong>48-49)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Gott ist unglaublich freundlich zu uns!  Er will, dass wir das gefährlichste, das in unsere Herzen kriechen und unsere ernsthaften Absichten zerstören kann, vermeiden: Selbst-Bewunderung.  Wenn wir uns zu viel mit Menschen umgeben, die nicht dem rechten Weg folgen, werden wir natürlich Mitleid mit ihnen empfinden, aber zuweilen werden wir uns ihnen überlegen fühlen.  Aus diesem Grund erinnert uns Gott daran, dass es nur ein Mittel gibt, um dieses Gefühl zu vermeiden: Gott zu allen Zeiten zu lobpreisen.  Dann werden wir immer wachsam und uns bewusst sein, dass es Gott Allein ist, der der Allerhöchste und frei von jeglichen Mängeln ist.  Wohingegen wir als menschliche Wesen uns nie selbst für frei von der Bestrafung erklären können, bis Gott uns aus Seiner Gnade heraus am Tag des Gerichts davor bewahrt.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Capítulo 52, Al-Tur (Montanha de Tur)<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Esse capítulo da escritura sagrada leva o nome do versículo de abertura no qual Deus faz um juramento pelo monte Tur.  É uma montanha próxima ao lugar em que Deus falou ao profeta Moisés, que Deus o louve.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Que honra seria para uma pessoa se Deus lhe falasse diretamente!  Às vezes pode-se pensar: “Por que Deus não fala conosco também?”  A verdade é que Deus fala com todos<\/em><\/strong> os seres humanos através do Alcorão e, ainda assim, a maioria das pessoas ignora!  Eles não tiram um tempo para descobrir o que o Alcorão lhes diz!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

O propósito da comunicação de Deus é nos dar convicção na verdade do Islã e nos guiar para o caminho da conduta correta.  Quando ouvimos as palavras de Deus estamos convencidos de que esse mundo não foi criado sem um propósito.  Entendemos que é um teste e existe uma recompensa para os virtuosos e um fim doloroso para os que negam a mensagem.  Para garantir que demos a importância devida a esse aviso, Deus faz alguns juramentos poderosos:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Pelo monte (Sinai). Pelo Livro escrito, em um pergaminho desenrolado. Pelo templo frequentado. Pelo céu elevado. E pelos oceanos transbordantes.” (Alcorão 52: 1-6)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Uma afirmação simples do Senhor dos Mundos teria sido suficiente.  Se Ele faz cinco juramentos, então devemos prestar muita atenção a Seu aviso.  O propósito desse aviso é nos contar sobre a punição terrível:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Que o castigo do teu Senhor está iminente.<\/strong> Ninguém pode evitá-lo.” (Alcorão 52: 7-8)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

O que acontecerá nesse dia aterrorizante?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“(Será) o dia em que o firmamento oscilará energicamente. E as montanhas mover-se-ão rapidamente.” (Alcorão 52:9-10)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Se estivermos nos iludindo dizendo coisas como: “Bem, não estou convencido” ou “não faz sentido para mim”, então ouçamos o que Deus diz para todos que questionam os avisos reais:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Ai, nesse dia, dos desmentidores.” (Alcorão 52:11)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Você alguma vez pensou por que algumas pessoas creem e outras não?  Afinal, todas são feitas de carne e osso, então qual é a grande diferença?  Por que as pessoas que são inteligentes e capazes em outras questões, não acreditam nas palavras de Deus?  O Alcorão afirma:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Que se houverem dado a veleidades.” (Alcorão 52:12)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Aqueles que rejeitam a fé estão ocupados se divertindo.  Fazem o que querem pouco se importando com o dia em que serão julgados por tudo que fizeram.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Nesse mundo as pessoas continuam a desfrutar suas vidas e são honradas pela sociedade mesmo que desobedeçam a Deus e provoquem Sua ira, mas na Vida Futura serão tratados de acordo com suas ações e sua crença:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Será o dia em que se verão violentamente impulsionados para o fogo infernal.” (Alcorão 52:13)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

E todas as suas negações e suas lógicas não terão nenhum uso:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“(Ser-lhes-á dito): Eis aqui o fogo, que negastes!” (Alcorão 52:14)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Divertem-se ironizando aqueles que seguem a religião verdadeira, acusando-os de terem sofrido lavagem cerebral. Mas naquele dia quando forem jogados no inferno, serão perguntados:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“É isto, acaso, magia, ou não vedes ainda? “ (Alcorão 52:15)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Deus não é injusto. Nesse mundo, o caminho da virtude pode não ser agradável às vezes, mas tenha em mente que os obstáculos no caminho são um mero teste de Deus.  Quando pessoas ao seu redor começam a culpar a religião e a dizer: “Se sua religião é tão boa, por que está sendo tratado dessa forma?”, “Onde está o sucesso que você diz que Deus prometeu?”, lembre-se que esse mundo não é o lugar onde podemos ver todos os resultados de nossos atos.  Os resultados aparecerão na vida que vem após a morte, quando será dito àqueles que levaram uma vida frívola, em vaidades:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Entrai aí, porque redundará no mesmo, que o suporteis, quer não. Sabei que sempre sereis recompensados pelo que houverdes feito.” (Alcorão 52:16)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Ninguém será punido sem um motivo!  Quando os que levaram uma vida virtuosa forem apresentados ao paraíso surpreendentemente belo:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“ Quanto aos tementes (a Deus), viverão em jardins e em felicidade. Gozando daquilo com que o seu Senhor os houver agraciado; e o seu Senhor os preservará do suplício infernal.” (Alcorão 52:17-18)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Enquanto as pessoas ao redor deles estavam preocupadas somente com os prazeres físicos do mundo - dinheiro, sexo e álcool, para mencionar alguns - essas pessoas conscientes de Deus lembravam que a vida não é feita apenas para diversão, mas é um teste de obediência.  Assim, sua recompensa será a alegria eterna do paraíso, o prazer sem fim:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“(Ser-lhes-á dito): Comei e bebei, com proveito, pelo que (de bom) fizestes! Estarão recostados sobre leitos enfileirados e os casaremos com huris, de olhos maravilhosos.” (Alcorão 52:19-20)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

A realidade de nossas vidas é que nosso prazer é incompleto sem nossas famílias.  É por isso que celebramos feriados e realizações pessoais com nossos familiares.  Deus reunirá todos os membros da família que seguiram o caminho virtuoso, mesmo que estejam em níveis diferentes de acordo com seus atos.  Aqueles nos níveis mais baixos serão elevados em nível para se unirem com seus pais, filhos e cônjuges.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“E aqueles que creram, bem como as sua proles, que os seguirem na fé, reuni-los-emos às suas famílias, e não os privaremos de nada, quanto à sua recompensa merecida. Todo o indivíduo será responsável pelos seus atos!” (Alcorão 52:21)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n
