The current of life can drag you to a place you would never think of going.  Our fate is not in our hands, although it would seem to be; in its very veins are traces of handprint totally in contrast to ours.  I have learned this wonderful truth in my own personal laboratory called life.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

My spiritual adventure started when I was a teenager.  Worldly life gave me no fulfillment so I turned my head to a different road-“Religion”.  I joined the Born-again movement and was very enthusiastic.  My passion brought me to full time ministry and I was trained to become a Pastor. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Years went by, the challenges and my personal assessment in the church led me to question my faith.  What came after was years spent in struggle that eventually led me to distance my self away from the church and into the worldly life once again.  But maybe because I was really searching for fulfillment my craving for spirituality continued.  This time I experimented with other religions: Vaisnavism (a branch of Hinduism), new age philosophy, Buddhism then Islam.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

What I found in Islam was totally different from what I heard in the news and saw in the movies.  I discovered that it is a religion of peace that seeks the betterment of society.  The laws and moral codes are there to forge equality, justice, and dignity among the people.  Islam dwells more on solving real life issues than ecclesiastical doctrines by providing practical solutions.  Upon grasping this wonderful truth I had no second thoughts, I told my online counselor over www.islamreligion.com that I am going to be a Muslim.  Immediately he asked my number and called me then guided me in my declaration of the shahada (the Testimony of Faith).  After that he instructed me to find a good Muslim community.  By the guidance of Allah I was able to find one here in Cebu, Alhamdulillah!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Now I am training to become a good Daa’ee (propagator of Islam).  The more I read about Islam the more I am falling in love with it.  There are more jewels to be discovered as long as we stay focused and look for solutions rather than burying our hands in the mud of negativity.  As long as we are determined, we will be successful.  Ameen! Le tourbillon de la vie peut parfois nous amener là où nous ne croyions jamais aller.  Notre destin n’est pas entre nos mains, même si nous nous plaisons à le croire; j’ai appris cette grande vérité dans mon propre laboratoire personnel appelé « la vie ».<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Mon aventure spirituelle débuta lorsque j’étais adolescent.  Comme je ne ressentais que peu d’attachement aux choses de ce monde, je décidai de suivre une voie différente, soit celle de la religion.  Je me joignis à un groupe chrétien, au sein duquel je développai un grand enthousiasme pour la spiritualité.  Ma passion m’amena d’ailleurs à prêcher à temps plein et je reçus une formation pour devenir pasteur.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Les années passèrent.  Les défis auxquels je fis face, dans l’église, de même qu’une certaine prise de conscience personnelle m’amenèrent à remettre ma foi en question.  Les années qui suivirent cette prise de conscience furent très difficiles, pour moi, et je finis par prendre mes distances de l’église.  Mais ma soif de spiritualité, elle, ne s’éteignit jamais.  Je considérai diverses philosophies nouvel-âge et certaines religions, comme le vishnouisme (une branche de l’hindouisme), le bouddhisme et, enfin, l’islam.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Ce que je découvris, sur l’islam, détonnait complètement sur ce que j’avais entendu et vu, dans les médias.  Je découvris qu’il s’agissait d’une religion de paix, qui a à cœur le bien de la société.  Ses lois et son code moral servent à amener l’égalité, la justice et la dignité au sein des sociétés du monde.  L’islam se préoccupe plus de résoudre des problèmes de la vie courante à l’aide de solutions pratiques qu’il ne s’attarde aux doctrines de toutes sortes.  En découvrant cette grande vérité, je n’eus aucun doute.  Je pris contact avec un conseiller surwww.islamreligion.com<\/a> et lui dis que je souhaitais devenir musulman.  Il me demanda tout de suite mon numéro de téléphone et m’appela pour me faire réciter la profession de foi (shahadah).  Il me conseilla ensuite de partir à la recherche d’une bonne communauté musulmane près de chez moi.  Par la grâce d’Allah, j’en trouvai une ici-même, à Cebu.  Alhamdoulillah!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Je suis maintenant une formation pour devenir un bon daa’i (prêcheur musulman).  Plus je lis sur l’islam, plus j’aime cette religion.  Il y a beaucoup de bien à découvrir, dans cette religion, tant que nous restons concentrés et que nous cherchons des solutions plutôt que de nous complaire dans le négativisme.  Tant que nous sommes déterminés, nous pouvons réussir.  Amen, amen, amen!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Das gegenwärtige Leben kann dich an einen Platz bringen, an den du nie gedacht hättest.  Unser Schicksal ist nicht in unseren Händen, auch wenn es das zu sein scheint; in seinen Venen sind Spuren eines Handabdrucks, der einen völligen Gegensatz zu unserem bildet.  Ich habe diese wundervolle Wahrheit in meinem eigenen persönlichen Leben kennen gelernt. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Mein spirituelles Abenteuer begann, als ich Teenager war.  Das weltliche Leben gab mir keine Erfüllung, also wandte ich mein Herz einer anderen Straßen-\"Religion\" zu.  Ich schloss mich der Wiedergeburtsbewegung an und war sehr enthusuiastisch.  Meine Leidenschaft brachte mich zum Vollzeitdienst, und ich wurde zum Pastor ausgebildet. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Die Jahre vergingen, die Herausforderungen und meine persönliche Einschätzung in der Kirche führten dazu, dass ich meinen Glauben in Frage stellte.  Was danach kam, waren Jahre der Quälerei, die letztendlich dazu geführt haben, dass ich mich von der Kirche distanziert und dem weltlichen Leben genähert habe.  Aber möglicherweise, weil ich wirklich nach Erfüllung gesucht habe, blieb mein nach Spiritualität bestehen.  Dieses Mal experimentierte ich mit anderen Religionen: Vaishnavismus (ein Zweig des Hinduismus), New Age Philosophie, Buddhismus, dann Islam. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Was ich über den Islam herausfand, war ganz anders, als das was ich in den Nachrichten hörte und in den Filmen gesehen hatte.  Ich entdeckte, dass es eine Religion des Friedens ist, die eine Besserung der Gesellschaft sucht.  Der Gesetzes - und Moralkodex dient dazu, Gleichheit, Gerechtigkeit und Würde der Menschen zu sichern.  Der Islam besteht mehr darauf, Lösungen für reale Probleme des Lebens zu liefern, als theologische Doktrinen.  Nachdem ich diese wunderbare Wahrheit verstanden hatte, gab es für mich kein zweites Überlegen mehr; ich teilte meinem online – Berater auf www.islamreligion.com mit, dass ich Muslim werden würde.  Er fragte gleich nach meiner Telefonnummer und rief mich an, dann half er mir dabei, meine Schahada (das Glaubensbekenntnis) auszusprechen.  Danach riet er mir, eine gute muslimische Gemeinschaft zu finden.  Mit der Rechtleitung von Allah habe ich hier in Cebu eine gefunden, Alhamdulillah!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Jetzt übe ich, dass ich ein guter Daa’ie (Verbreiter des Islam) werde.  Je mehr ich über den Islam lese, desto mehr verliebe ich mich in ihn.  Es gibt noch mehr Schmuck zu entdecken, solange wir dran bleiben und lieber nach Lösungen Ausschau halten, als unsere Hände im Schlamm der Negativität zu begraben.  Solange wir entschlossen sind, werden wir erfolgreich sein.  Amin! A corrente da vida pode arrastar você para um lugar para o qual você nunca pensou em ir.  Nosso destino não está em nossas mãos, embora pareça estar; em suas próprias veias estão vestígios totalmente em contraste com os nossos. Aprendi essa verdade maravilhosa em meu próprio laboratório pessoal chamado vida.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Minha aventura espiritual começou quando era adolescente.  A vida mundana não me deu qualquer senso de realização e me voltei para uma estrada diferente - “religião”.  Uni-me ao movimento de regeneração e era muito entusiasta.  Minha paixão levou-me a um ministério em tempo integral e fui treinado para tornar-me pastor. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

O que encontrei no Islã era totalmente diferente do que ouvia nas notícias e via nos filmes.  Descobri que é uma religião de paz que busca o aperfeiçoamento da sociedade.  As leis e códigos morais existem para forjar igualdade, justiça e dignidade entre as pessoas.  O Islã se debruça mais na solução de questões da vida real do que doutrinas eclesiásticas, fornecendo soluções práticas.  Ao perceber essa maravilhosa verdade não pensei duas vezes e disse ao meu conselheiro online no www.islamreligion.com que seria muçulmano.  Imediatamente ele me pediu meu telefone e me ligou, guiando-me em minha declaração de shahada (testemunho de fé).  Depois me instruiu a encontrar uma boa comunidade muçulmana.  Pela orientação de Allah fui capaz de encontrar uma aqui em Cebu, Alhamdulillah!<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Agora estou treinando para me tornar um bom da’i (divulgador do Islã).  Quanto mais leio sobre o Islã, mas me apaixono por ele.  Existem muitas joias a ser descobertas, desde que foquemos e busquemos por soluções, ao invés de enterrarmos nossas mãos no lodo da negatividade.  Desde que estejamos determinados, seremos bem-sucedidos.  Amém!
