Morality and Ethics in Islam<\/span><\/h1>\r\n

Islam is a comprehensive way of life, and morality is one of the cornerstones Islam.  Morality is one of the fundamental sources of a nation’s strength, just as immorality is one of the main causes of a nation’s decline.  Islam has established some universal fundamental rights for humanity as a whole, which are to be observed in all circumstances.  To uphold these rights, Islam has provided not only legal safeguards, but also a very effective moral system.  Thus, whatever leads to the welfare of the individual or the society and does not oppose any maxims of the religion is morally good in Islam, and whatever is harmful is morally bad.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Given its importance in a healthy society, Islam supports morality and matters that lead to it, and stands in the way of corruption and matters that lead to it.  The guiding principle for the behavior of a Muslim is “Virtuous Deeds”.  This term covers all deeds, not only acts of worship.  The Guardian and Judge of all deeds is God Himself.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The most fundamental characteristics of a Muslim are piety and humility.  A Muslim must be humble with God and with other people:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“And turn not your face away from people (with pride), nor walk in insolence through the earth.  Verily, God likes not each arrogant boaster.  And be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice.  Verily, the harshest of all voices is the voice (braying) of the ass.”  (Quran 31:18-19)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Muslims must be in controls of their passions and desires.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

A Muslim should not be vain or attached to the ephemeral pleasures of this world. While most people allow the material world to fill their hearts, Muslims should keep God in their hearts and the material world in their hand.  Instead of being attached to the car and the job and the diploma and the bank account, all these things become tools to make us better people.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, but only he (will prosper) that brings to God a sound heart.” (Quran: 26:88-89)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Principles of Morality in Islam<\/span><\/h2>\r\n

God sums up righteousness in verse 177 of Surat Al Baqarah:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards East or West; but it is righteousness (the quality of ) the one who believes in God and the Last Day and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; who spends of his wealth, in spite of love for it, to the kinsfolk, to the orphans, to the needy, to the wayfarer, to those who ask and for the freeing of slaves; and who is steadfast in prayers, and gives Zakah (Alms); and those who fulfill their covenants which they made; and who are patient and perseverant in poverty and ailment and throughout all periods of fighting.  Such are the people of truth, the pious.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

This verse teaches us that righteousness and piety is based before all else on a true and sincere faith.  The key to virtue and good conduct is a strong relation with God, who sees all, at all times and everywhere.  He knows the secrets of the hearts and the intentions behind all actions.  Therefore, a Muslim must be moral in all circumstances; God is aware of each one when no one else is.  If we deceive everyone, we cannot deceive Him.  We can flee from anyone, but not from Him.  The love and continuous awareness of God and the Day of Judgment enables man to be moral in conduct and sincere in intentions, with devotion and dedication:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Indeed, the most honorable among you in the sight of God is the most pious.” (Quran 49:13)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Then come deeds of charity to others, especially giving things we love. This, like acts of worship, prayers and Zakah (mandatory alms), is an integral part of worship.  A righteous person must be reliable and trustworthy.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Finally, their faith must be firm and should not wane when faced with adversity.  Morality must be strong to vanquish corruption:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“And God loves those<\/strong> who are firm and steadfast.” <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Patience is often hardest and most beautiful when it’s against one’s own desires or anger:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“And march forth toward forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for the pious.  Those who spend (in the way of God) in prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger, and who pardon people; verily, God loves the doers of the good deeds.”  (Quran 3:133)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

These three acts are among the hardest things for most people, but they are also the key to forgiveness and to paradise.  Are they not the best, those who are able to exercise charity when they are in need themselves, control when they are angry and forgiveness when they are wronged?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

This is the standard by which actions are judged as good or bad.  By making pleasing God the objective of every Muslim, Islam has set the highest possible standard of morality.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Morality in Islam addresses every aspect of a Muslim’s life, from greetings to international relations.  It is universal in its scope and in its applicability.  Morality reigns in selfish desires, vanity and bad habits.  Muslims must not only be virtuous, but they must also enjoin virtue.  They must not only refrain from evil and vice, but they must also forbid them.  In other words, they must not only be morally healthy, but they must also contribute to the moral health of society as a whole.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“You are the best of the nations raised up for (the benefit of) men; you enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong and believe in God; and if the followers of the Book had believed it would have been better for them; of them (some) are believers and most of them are transgressors.” (Quran: 3:110)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

The Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, summarized the conduct of a Muslim when he said:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“My Sustainer has given me nine commands: to remain conscious of God, whether in private or in public; to speak justly, whether angry or pleased; to show moderation both when poor and when rich, to reunite friendship with those who have broken off with me; to give to him  who refuses me; that my silence should be occupied with thought; that my looking should be an admonition; and that I should command what is right.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

El Islam es un modo de vida integral, y la moralidad es una de sus piedras angulares. La moralidad es una de las fuentes de la fuerza de una nación, así como la inmoralidad es también una de las causas fundamentales de su decadencia. El Islam ha establecido algunos derechos fundamentales y universales para la humanidad como un todo, que deben ser observados en todas las circunstancias. Para preservar estos derechos, el Islam no sólo nos ha proveído resguardos legales, sino también un efectivo sistema moral. Así, lo que sea que conduzca al bienestar de los individuos de una sociedad y no se oponga a los fundamentos de la religión es moralmente bueno en el Islam, y lo que fuera que la perjudique es moralmente malo.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Dada su importancia en una sociedad saludable, el Islam apoya la moralidad en cada asunto que conduzca a su desarrollo, y cierra los caminos a la corrupción y a todo aquello que conduzca a ella. Los principios básicos para el comportamiento del musulmán son los “actos virtuosos”. Este término cubre toda clase de actos, no solamente actos de culto. El Guardián y Juez de todas las obras es Dios mismo.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Las características fundamentales que el musulmán debe cultivar son la piedad y la humildad. El musulmán debe ser humilde ante Dios y hacia su prójimo:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“No vuelvas tu rostro a la gente [con desprecio] y no andes por la Tierra con arrogancia. Ciertamente Allah no ama a quien es presumido y engreído. Sé modesto en tu andar y no levantes tu voz, que ciertamente la voz más desagradable es la del asno”. (Corán 31:18-19)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Los musulmanes deben controlar sus pasiones y deseos<\/span><\/h2>\r\n

El musulmán no debe ser vano ni aferrarse a los placeres efímeros de este mundo. Mientras la mayoría de la gente permite que el mundo material llene sus corazones, el musulmán debe mantener a Dios en su corazón y al mundo material en sus manos. En lugar de sentirse apegado a su automóvil, a su trabajo, a un diploma o una cuenta bancaria, el musulmán debe considerar todas estas cosas como simples herramientas para hacer algo que nos convierta en mejores personas.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Ese día, de nada servirá la riqueza ni los hijos, y sólo estará a salvo quien enfrente a Dios con un corazón sano”. (Corán 26:88-89)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Principios de la moralidad en el Islam<\/span><\/h2>\r\n

Dios resumió la rectitud en el verso 177 del capítulo Al Baqarah<\/em>:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“La piedad no consiste en orientarse hacia el oriente o el occidente, sino que consiste en creer en Allah, el Día del Juicio, los ángeles, el Libro, los Profetas, hacer caridad, a pesar del apego que se tiene por los bienes, a los parientes, huérfanos, pobres, viajeros insolventes, mendigos y cautivos, hacer la oración prescrita, pagar el Zakat, cumplir con los compromisos contraídos, ser paciente en la pobreza, la desgracia y en el momento del enfrentamiento con el enemigo. Ésos son los justos, y ésos son los temerosos de Dios”.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Este verso nos enseña que la rectitud y la piedad están basadas ante todo en una fe sincera. La llave de la virtud y la buena conducta es una fuerte relación con Dios, Quien todo lo ve, en todo tiempo y en todo lugar. Él conoce los secretos de los corazones y las intenciones detrás de las acciones. Por lo tanto, el musulmán debe tener un comportamiento moral en todas las circunstancias; Dios está Consciente de cada ser vivo, cuando nadie más lo está. Si engañamos a alguien, nunca podremos engañarlo a Él. Podemos huir de alguien, pero jamás podremos huir de Él. El estar continuamente  consciente del amor de Dios y del Día del Juicio le permite al ser humano tener una conducta moral e intenciones sinceras, con devoción y dedicación:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Ciertamente, el más honrado ante Dios entre ustedes es el más piadoso”. (Corán, 49:13)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Luego vienen los actos de caridad hacia el prójimo, especialmente dando con amor. Esto, como los actos de culto, las oraciones y  el Zakat (caridad obligatoria) dado a los pobres, son parte integral del culto religioso. Una persona recta debe ser confiable.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Finalmente, su fe debe fortalecerse y sobrevivir a las adversidades sin debilitarse. La moralidad debe ser fuerte para vencer la corrupción:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Dios ama a aquellos que son firmes y determinados”.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

La paciencia es a menudo dificultosa, y más noble cuando es contra nuestros propios deseos, caprichos o ira:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Y apresuraos a alcanzar el perdón de vuestro Señor y un Paraíso tan grande como los cielos y la Tierra, reservado para los piadosos”. (Corán 3:133)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Estos tres actos están entre las cosas más difíciles para la mayoría de la gente, pero son también la llave para alcanzar el perdón y el Paraíso. ¿Acaso no serán los mejores aquellos que son capaces de dar caridad cuando ellos mismos están necesitados, son capaces de controlarse cuando están furiosos, y de perdonar cuando han sido tratados injustamente?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Esta es la regla por la cual las acciones son juzgadas como buenas o malas. Al hacer que el objetivo del musulmán sea complacer a Dios, el Islam establece el más alto estándar de moralidad humano.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

La moralidad en el Islam está dirigida a cada aspecto de la vida del musulmán, desde el simple saludo hasta las relaciones internacionales. Es universal y muy amplio en alcance y aplicabilidad. La moralidad prevalece ante los deseos egoístas, la vanidad y los malos hábitos. Los musulmanes no solamente deben ser virtuosos, sino que deben encomendar la virtud a otros. No sólo deben abstenerse de la maldad y el vicio, sino también impedirlos y prohibirlos. En otras palabras, no sólo deben ser moralmente saludables, sino que también deben contribuir activamente a la salud moral de la sociedad en su conjunto.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Sois la mejor nación que haya surgido de la humanidad: Ordenáis el bien, prohibís el mal y creéis en Allah. Si la Gente del Libro creyera, sería mejor para ellos; algunos son creyentes pero la mayoría desviados”. (Corán 3:110)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

El Profeta Muhammad (que la paz y las bendiciones de Allah sean con él) resumió la conducta del musulmán cuando dijo:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Mi Sustentador me ha dado nueve premisas: permanecer consciente de Él, ya sea en privado o en público; hablar con justicia, ya sea a gusto o a disgusto; mostrar moderación tanto en la riqueza como en la pobreza; restablecer la amistad con aquellos que se apartan de mí; darle a quien me rechaza; que mi silencio esté ocupado por el pensamiento; que mi mirada sea una inhibición de la mala conducta, y que ordene lo que es bueno y correcto”.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

L’islam est un mode de vie complet et la moralité est l’une de ses pierres angulaires.  La moralité est l’une des sources fondamentales de la force d’une nation, tout comme l’immoralité est l’une des principales causes du déclin d’une nation.  L’islam a établi certains droits fondamentaux universels pour l’humanité, droits qui doivent être respectés en toutes circonstances.   Pour faire respecter ces droits, l’islam fournit non seulement des garanties légales, mais aussi un système moral très efficace.  Par conséquent, tout ce qui mène au bien-être des individus et\/ou de la société et qui ne va pas à l’encontre des lois divines est moralement bon ; et tout qui cause du tort aux individus et\/ou à la société est moralement mauvais.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Vu son importance dans une société saine, l’islam encourage la moralité et tout ce qui y mène et s’oppose à la corruption et à tout ce qui y mène.  Le principe directeur du comportement du musulman est l’action vertueuse; ce terme s’applique à toutes les actions et non seulement aux actes d’adoration.  Et le juge de toute action est Dieu Lui-même.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Les qualités les plus fondamentales du musulman sont la piété et l’humilité.  Le musulman doit se montrer humble devant Dieu et devant les gens :<\/span><\/p>\r\n

 « Ne détourne pas ton visage de tes semblables par  mépris (envers eux) et ne foule pas la terre avec insolence; car Dieu n’aime pas l’arrogant infatué de sa personne.  Sois plutôt modeste dans ta démarche, et abaisse le ton de ta voix, car la plus détestée des voix, c’est bien celle de l’âne! » (Coran 31:18-19)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Le musulman doit constamment exercer un contrôle sur ses passions et ses désirs.  Il  doit éviter d’être vaniteux ou d’être trop attaché aux plaisirs éphémères de la vie d’ici-bas.  Tandis que la majorité des gens permettent à leur amour des choses matérielles de prendre toute la place, dans leur cœur, le musulman doit apprendre à accorder une grande place à Dieu, dans son cœur, et à ne voir les choses matérielles que comme des nécessités de la vie.  Plutôt que de s’attacher à sa voiture, à son emploi, à ses diplômes et à son compte bancaire, il voit ces choses comme des outils qui peuvent, peut-être, l’aider à devenir une meilleure personne.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

 « … le jour où ni ses biens ni ses enfants ne seront d’aucune utilité (à l’homme), et où seul se réjouira celui qui viendra à Dieu avec un cœur pur. » (Coran: 26:88-89)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Principes de moralité en islam<\/span><\/h2>\r\n

Dieu résume ce qu’est la vertu dans le verset 177 de la sourate al-Baqarah :<\/span><\/p>\r\n

 « La piété ne consiste pas à tourner vos visages vers l’Est ou l’Ouest ; mais pieux est celui qui croit en Dieu et au Jour dernier, aux anges, au Livre et aux prophètes, et qui donne ses biens, par amour pour Dieu, à ses proches, aux orphelins, aux indigents, aux voyageurs, à ceux qui demandent (de l’aide) et pour libérer des esclaves ; [et pieux est celui] qui observe assidûment ses prières et qui paie la zakat.  Et [sont pieux] ceux qui respectent leurs engagements lorsqu’ils s’engagent, et ceux qui sont patients en période de tribulations, d’adversité et de grande tension.  Les voilà, ceux qui sont sincères et les voilà ceux qui craignent vraiment Dieu. »<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Ce verset nous enseigne que la piété et la vertu sont d’abord et avant tout fondées sur une foi vraie et sincère.  La clef de la vertu et du bon comportement est une relation étroite avec Dieu, qui nous voit tous, à chaque instant, peu importe où nous nous trouvons.  Il connaît les secrets de nos cœurs et les intentions derrière chacune de nos actions.  Par conséquent, le musulman doit faire preuve de moralité en toutes circonstances; Dieu sait tout, même quand personne d’autre ne sait.  Même si nous arrivons à tromper tout le monde, nous ne pouvons jamais tromper Dieu.  Et même si nous arrivons à fuir tout le monde, nous ne pouvons jamais fuir Dieu.  L’amour et la conscience de Dieu que nourrit l’homme, dans son cœur, de même que la certitude du Jour du Jugement l’amènent à faire preuve de moralité, dans son comportement de tous les jours, et à développer une véritable sincérité, dans ses intentions.  Dieu dit, dans le Coran :<\/span><\/p>\r\n

 « Certes, le plus noble d’entre vous, auprès de Dieu, est celui qui a la meilleure conduite. » (Coran 49:13)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Viennent ensuite, comme comportements pieux, la charité envers les moins nantis et surtout, le fait de donner de nos biens auxquels nous sommes attachés.  Cela, de même que d’autres actes comme la prière et la zakah (charité annuelle obligatoire), fait partie intégrante de l’adoration de Dieu.  Par ailleurs, une personne vertueuse doit toujours être fiable et honnête.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Enfin, la foi doit être inébranlable et ne doit pas diminuer lorsque la personne traverse de lourdes épreuves.  La moralité d’une personne doit être forte pour lui permettre de vaincre toutes les formes de corruption<\/span><\/p>\r\n

 « Dieu aime ceux qui sont patients. » (Coran 3:146)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

La patience est à la fois plus difficile et plus admirable lorsqu’elle est exercée à l’encontre de ses propres désirs ou de sa colère :<\/span><\/p>\r\n

 « Et rivalisez les uns avec les autres pour obtenir le pardon de votre Seigneur, et pour un Paradis aussi large que les cieux et la terre, préparé pour les pieux, qui dépensent [de ce que Dieu leur a donné], dans l’aisance comme dans l’adversité, qui contrôlent leur colère et qui pardonnent à autrui.  Dieu aime les bienfaisants. » (Coran 3:133-4)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Ces trois actes (la charité, le contrôle de la colère et le pardon) sont parmi les plus difficiles pour la plupart des gens, mais ils sont aussi la clef pour recevoir le pardon de Dieu et entrer au Paradis.  Ne font-ils pas partie des meilleurs, ceux qui donnent en charité alors qu’ils sont eux-mêmes dans le besoin, qui arrivent à se contrôler lorsqu’ils sont en colère et qui pardonnent à ceux qui leur causent du tort?<\/span><\/p>\r\n

En faisant en sorte que l’unique objectif de tout musulman soit de faire plaisir à Dieu, l’islam a établi les plus hautes normes de moralité.  Et c’est sur la base de ces normes que l’on doit juger si une action est bonne ou mauvaise.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

La moralité, en islam, touche à toutes les sphères de la vie du musulman.  Elle est universelle dans sa portée et son applicabilité.  Le musulman doit non seulement être vertueux, mais doit aussi enjoindre la vertu.  Il ne doit pas seulement éviter le mal et le vice, il doit aussi en éloigner les autres, dans la mesure du possible.  En d’autres termes, il doit non seulement être moralement sain, il doit aussi contribuer à la santé morale de la société dans laquelle il vit.  Dieu dit, dans le Coran :<\/span><\/p>\r\n

 « Vous êtes la meilleure communauté qu’on ait fait naître pour les hommes; vous enjoignez le bien et interdisez le blâmable, et vous croyez en Dieu.  Et si les gens du Livre avaient cru, cela aurait mieux valu pour eux.  Certains d’entre eux sont croyants; mais la plupart d’entre eux sont des transgresseurs. » (Coran: 3:110)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Le prophète Mohammed (que la paix et les bénédictions de Dieu soient sur lui) a ainsi résumé le comportement du musulman :<\/span><\/p>\r\n

 « Celui qui subvient à mes besoins m’a transmis neuf commandements : demeurer conscient de Dieu, en privé comme en public; parler avec honnêteté, que l’on soit en colère ou de bonne humeur; être modéré, que l’on soit pauvre ou riche; renouer avec les amis qui ont cessé de nous parler; donner à ceux qui refusent de nous donner; que nos silences soient meublés de réflexion; que mon regard soit un avertissement; et commander le bien, autour de soi. »<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Der Islam ist eine ganzheitliche Lebensweise und Moral ist einer der Eckpfeiler des Islam.  Moral ist eine der fundamentellen Quellen der Stärke der Gemeinschaft, genau wie Unsittlichkeit einer der Hauptgründe für den Untergang der Gemeinschaft ist.  Der Islam hat einige universelle Grundrechte für die gesamte Menschheit aufgestellt, die unter allen Umständen eingehalten werden müssen.  Um diese Rechte aufrechtzuerhalten, hat der Islam nicht nur gesetzlichen Schutz geliefert, sondern auch ein sehr effektives Moralsystem.  Daher wird alles, das zum Wohlergehen des Einzelnen oder der Gesellschaft beiträgt und nicht den Regeln der Religion widerspricht, als moralisch gut betrachtet und was für sie schädlich ist als moralisch schlecht. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Angesichts ihrer Wichtigkeit in einer gesunden Gesellschaft unterstützt der Islam die Sittsamkeit und die Dinge, die zu ihr führen und stellt sich den Wegen der Korruption und den Dingen, die zu ihr führen, entgegen.  Das anleitende Prinzip für das Verhalten eines Muslim bilden die \"Rechtschaffenen Taten\".  Dieser Begriff umfasst alle Taten, nicht nur gottesdienstliche Handlungen.  Der Wächter und Richter aller Taten ist Gott Selbst.    <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Die grundlegendsten Eigenschaften eines Muslim sind Frömmigkeit und Demut.  Ein Muslim muss vor Gott und anderen Menschen demütig sein.  <\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Und weise den Menschen nicht verächtlich deine Wange und schreite nicht ausgelassen (in Übermut) auf Erden; denn Gott liebt keine eingebildeten Prahler.  Und schreite gemessenen Schrittes und dämpfe deine Stimme; denn wahrlich, die widerwärtigste der Stimmen ist die Stimme des Esels.”  (Quran 31:18-19)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Muslime müssen ihre Wünsche und Begierden unter Kontrolle haben.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Ein Muslim sollte nicht eitel sein oder an den flüchtigen Vergnügungen dieser Welt hängen. Während die meisten Menschen der materiellen Welt erlauben, ihre Herzen zu füllen, sollten Muslime Gott in ihren Herzen bewahren und die materielle Welt in ihrer Hand.  Anstatt am Auto und am Job, dem Diplom und dem Bankkonto zu hängen, sollten alle diese Dinge nur Mittel dazu sein, uns zu besseren Menschen zu machen.  <\/span><\/p>\r\n

“An dem Tage, da weder Besitz noch Söhne (etwas) nützen, sondern nur der (gerettet werden wird), der mit reinem Herzen zu Gott kommt.” (Quran: 26:88-89)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Prinzipien der Moral im Islam  <\/span><\/h2>\r\n

Gott erläutert die Rechtschaffenheit in Vers 177 von Sura al-Baqarah:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Es ist keine Frömmigkeit, wenn ihr eure Angesichter in Richtung Osten oder Westen wendet; Frömmigkeit ist vielmehr, dass man an Gott glaubt, den Jüngsten Tag, die Engel, das Buch und die Propheten und vom Besitz – obwohl man ihn liebt – den Verwandten gibt, den Waisen, den Armen, dem Sohn des Weges, den Bettlern und für den Freikauf von Sklaven, dass man das Gebet verrichtet und die Zakah (Almosen) entrichtet.  Es sind diejenigen, die ihr Versprechen einhalten, wenn sie es gegeben haben, und diejenigen, die in Elend, Not und in Kriegszeiten geduldig sind; sie sind es, die wahrhaftig und gottesfürchtig sind.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Dieser Vers lehrt uns, dass Rechtschaffenheit und Frömmigkeit vor allem anderen auf wahrem und aufrichtigem Glauben basieren.  Der Schlüssel zu Tugendhaftigkeit und gutem Benehmen ist eine starke Verbindung zu Gott, der alles sieht, jederzeit und überall.  Er kennt die Geheimnisse in den Herzen und die Absichten hinter allen Taten.  Aus diesem Grund muss ein Muslim unter allen Umständen moralisch sein; Gott ist jedem gewahr, wenn kein anderer es ist.  Wenn wir auch jeden betrügen, Ihn können wir nicht betrügen.  Wir können vor jedem fliehen, aber nicht vor Ihm.  Die Liebe und das ständige Bewusstsein von Gottes und dem Tag des Gerichts befähigt den Menschen, sittlich in seinem Verhalten und aufrichtig in seinen Absichten zu sein, mit Ergebenheit und Hingabe:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Wahrlich, vor Gott ist von euch der Angesehenste, welcher der Gottesfürchtigste ist.” (Quran 49:13)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Dann kommen die Gaben für andere, insbesondere sollten wir  Dinge schenken, die wir auch lieben.  Genau wie gottesdienstliche Handlungen, Gebete und Zakah (Pflichtalmosen) bildet dies einen integralen Anteil am Gottesdienst.  Eine rechtschaffene Person muss ehrlich und vertrauenswürdig sein.    <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Schließlich muss ihr Glaube fest und unerschütterlich sein, wenn sie Widrigkeiten begegnet.  Die Moral muss stark sein, damit sie die Korruption besiegen.  <\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Und Gott liebt <\/strong>diejenigen<\/strong>, die fest und standhaft sind.” <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Geduld ist häufig am schwersten und am schönsten, wenn sie sich gegen unsere eigenen Wünsche oder unseren Ärger durchsetzt:  <\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Und wetteifert nach der Vergebung eures Herrn und nach einem Garten, dessen Breite der von Himmel und Erde entspricht, der für die Gottesfürchtigen vorbereitet ist, die da spenden in Freud und Leid und den Groll unterdrücken und den Menschen vergeben.  Und Gott liebt die Rechtschaffenen.”  (Quran 3:133-134)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Diese drei Taten gehören zu den schwersten für die Mehrheit der Menschen, aber sie sind ebenfalls die Schlüssel zur Vergebung und zum Paradies.  Sind denn nicht diejenigen die besten, die in der Lage sind, Almosen zu geben, obwohl sie selbst bedürftig sind, und diejenigen, die sich beherrschen, wenn sie wütend sind, und diejenigen, die vergeben, obwohl ihnen Unrecht geschieht? <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Dies ist der Standard, nach dem die Taten als gut oder schlecht eingestuft werden.  Indem das Zufriedenstellen Gottes zum Ziel eines jeden Muslim gemacht wurde, hat der Islam den höchsten Standard für Moral aufgestellt. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Die Moral im Islam richtet sich an jeden Aspekt im Leben eines Muslim, von der Begrüßung bis hin zu internationalen Beziehungen.  Er ist universell in seinen Zielen und in seiner Anwendbarkeit.  Die Moral beherrscht die eigennützigen Wünsche, Eitelkeit und schlechten Gewohnheiten.  Muslime müssen nicht nur tugendhaft sein, sondern auch Tugendhaftigkeit gebieten.  Sie müssen sich nicht nur von Übel und Lastern fernhalten, sondern sie auch unterbinden.  Mit anderen Worten, sie müssen nicht nur moralisch gesund sein, sondern sie müssen auch zur moralischen Gesundheit der gesamten Gesellschaft beitragen. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Ihr seid die beste Gemeinde, die für die Menschen entstand.  Ihr gebietet das, was Rechtens ist, und ihr verbietet das Unrecht, und ihr glaubt an Gott.  Und wenn die Leute der Schrift geglaubt hätten, wahrlich, es wäre gut für sie gewesen!  Unter ihnen sind Gläubige, aber die Mehrzahl von ihnen sind Frevler.” (Quran: 3:110)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Der Prophet, Gottes Segen und Frieden seien auf ihm, fasste das Benehmen eines Muslim zusammen, als er sagte:<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Mein Erhalter hat mir neun Befehle gegeben: Gottes bewusst zu bleiben, sei es privat oder öffentlich; die Wahrheit zu sprechen, egal ob im Ärger oder in Zufriedenheit; Bescheidenheit zeigen, ob ich arm bin oder reich, die Freundschaft wiederherzustellen mit denen, die sie mit mir gebrochen haben, dem zu geben, der mich zurückweist, dass meine Stille mit Gedanken beschäftigt sein sollen; dass mein Blick eine Ermahnung sein soll und dass ich befehlen soll, was Rechtens ist.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n
