KHUTBA - Rights of the Ruler and His Subjects

His Eminence Sheikh Osama Ibn Abdullah Khayyāṭ –May Allah protect him–delivered this Friday khutbah titled “Rights of the Ruler and His Subjects.” He spoke aboutthe duty to obey the Muslim ruler, to disengage from any disobedience to him or any type ofinsurgency against his authority. The Sheikh cited evidence from the Holy Book of Allah, theSunnah of His Messenger (May Allah’s Salat and Peace be upon him) and some scholars’statements in this respect.
