Khutbah - Tawakkul vs. Tawaakul

His Eminence Sheikh Saud Al-Shuraim –May Allah protect him– delivered thisFriday’s Khutbah titled “Tawakkul vs. Tawākul” in which he talked about the variance in thesustenance Allah Almighty predestined to his servants. He cautioned against emulating thebehaviour of the mutawaakileen who claim to be mutawakkileen. Sheikh Al-Shuraim quotedsome verses from the Holy Qur’ān, the Prophet’s hadiths ‒May Allah's Salat and Peace beupon him‒ and theathar2 that urge people to work hard in order to earn their living rightfullyand not to be a burden on others.
